Chapter 2 - Kathy

So, I absolutely LOVE HORSE back riding. It's my passion, although I do hate how Katie always gets in the way. She seems almost jealous. That's not my problem! Just go do horse back riding yourself!
    Unlike Katie, I have lots of friends. It seems like Everyday I have a swarm of kids following, everywhere I go! To be honest, I don't like the attention, I just make it look like it to bother Katie.
    Although I do have Radom followers that consider themselves friends of mine, I have 4 actual friends. They're names are Kianna, Carly, Cora and Cathleen. We are the 'Kuh' group. I don't understand why Katie won't join us and leave her other friends. They're weird anyways. A boy who dances?
    Ok, my friends are the best because I think they are very important people in my life. Kianna, a very energetic person, but is easily offended. She is the only person who helps out at the barn with me. Obviously there are grade 8 kids, but I mean amongst my friends.
    Carly, she dances with Katie. Her sister is Cora but she 2 years younger. She comes to eat lunch with us so I consider her as a friend. Carly is probably the nicest person the earth has met. Cora, her sister, tries to hard to be nice but if she didn't try so hard she actually would be nicer.
    Then there is Cathleen. She does nothing athletic, and is very poor. She gets bullied constantly, so Kianna, Carly, Cora and I decided to let her come and sit with us one day. She is actually really nice and people can't always see that.
    Today is Wednesday, every Wednesday for  period 6, Kianna and I get to go help out at the farm. Then Kianna leaves and I stay for lessons. Kianna and I are currently grooming the horses. We then saddle them all up and we get to ride them.
    As we finish up grooming the last horse Kianna's mom comes up and says that Kianna has to go to the dentist. Kianna hugs me quickly and runs to her car. I guess it's just me for the rest of the evening.
    I go grab a helmet and prepare for my lessons. Maria, who works here told me to get ready for lessons instead of having a quick ride. I get up on Charcoal, a completely black horse.
     Charcoal is my favourite horse at the ranch. Maria gets up on Thunder, a former racing horse.
    Thunder is black with white splotches covering him. Thunder, back when he was racing he got to close to the rear end of another horse and that horse kicked him. I don't know all the details, but I do know that ended his racing career.
     "Ok." Said Maria. "I feel you are ready to be allowed to gallop freely. You are a very responsible child Kathy. Let's see you try."
    I gulped. I had never galloped before in my life. I told Charcoal to step forward a bit. "Go for it." Said Maria and gave me an encouraging nod. I did my best fake smile and focused back to in front of me. I told Charcoal to start of with a canter.
     We did one full circle around the ring then I told him to gallop. He hesitated for a moment, knowing that I had never galloped before. He then picked up his pace.
I suddenly found out that galloping was actually really fun!
    "Excellent work Kathy!" Maria exclaimed and started excitingly clapping her hands. " You have the rest of the day to yourself. What trail will you be on?" She asked me. I was still so shocked that it took me a moment to process what she was saying. "Oh-trail 5 please." She nodded and left back to the cash.
   I was having a peaceful ride until it started raining. I started to head back but then Charcoal's foot got stuck in the mud. He tried pulling it out but it wouldn't budge. We are stuck.
    About 5 minutes later I hear Katie calling my name, saying it's time to leave. Ugh. I always have to go because of her dance. I look down at Charcoal's foot it free!
    "Where are we going? You're dance?" I say. Tell Charcoal to gallop but, because it's all muddy it's unstable. I fall of Charcoal, hit my head off a Rock and then Charcoal steps on my foot. I scream but everything goes black.

Ok please give me advice. My friend read it but she doesn't have wattpad. She thinks it's good, but I really don't want to be writing this if you guys don't like so PLEASE tell me what you think even if your advice is STOP! I will and I won't take it personally so please tell me what you think. Again I know there are no trail numbers but I thought this would make it better. Also, I know this is a long note but if you are a boy and you dance, please don't take offence to this! I think it's great you do that and I will tell you to keep on going!
