ELLA'S POV
I could only think about the message that Daisy had sent us. What did she mean by 'Gonna pay'? The windows were closed and I felt really hot and sweaty even though I was wearing jean shorts and a white t-shirt saying Crazy Mofo's that Niall gave me. My hair was tied into two braids on each side of my head. Niall had his arm around me.
"What's wrong?' He asked me.

"Oh, I'm just thinking about the message that the girl that got kicked out sent," I muttered to the window.

"Don't worry about her. She'll get what she deserves," he assured me. "I'm really happy that you feel comfortable telling me this," he told me.

"You're just really easy to talk to because unlike other guys you actually listen and give good advice," I said.

There was an awkward silence. Liam was sitting in the front seat and he suddenly turned around and said "Oh why don't you two just kiss already?" The driver began to laugh and so did Liam.
"Liam, Ben! Shut the fu-"

"Alright alright Niall!" Liam broke in.

Niall was blushing hard. Was it true what Zera said? Did he actually like me?

"Ella?" He said.

"Yeah?"

"KISS ME ELLA KISS ME I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MARRY ME!" Liam mocked.

"Liam. . . I will fuck you up." Niall said. His face was turning red. Liam turned around and laughed. Niall finally turned to me.

"Uum, so with the whole shipping our names? Are you ok with that? 'Cause it is just a joke, right?" My heart sank at those last words but I nodded.

"Oh, right. Yeah, I'm fine with it," I tried to sound normal and not hurt, but I guess it didn't work because he looked pained. He pulled me in to a hug and buried his face into my shoulder.

We pulled up near some shops and Niall helped me out the car. The sky was cloudy (duh, it was England) and the air felt cool, but since I was so sweaty and hot, it felt refreshing.

We walked over to the other car, and Zera was holding Harry's hand. I know she was my best friend and I was supposed to be happy for her, and believe me I was, but I couldn't help but be jealous and bitter that everything seemed to be going so well for her and Harry. I shook my head to clear my thoughts and Niall, Liam, Ben and I walked to meet the others.

"Hey, guys. Um, Ella this is Mick, one of our drivers and bodyguards. And this is Ben, Zera," Harry said. I smiled at Mick and he nodded at me. He looked a bit like a bodybuilder version of Santa Clause. Zera said hello to Ben.

So far no one had noticed us here, standing outside a shopping centre. Then I saw some girls giggling and pointing at us, and Mick and Ben obviously saw them too, because they ushered us into the shops.

"I thought we were going to meet fans?" Zera asked.

"Yeah, but let's do it in the shops." Mick stood behind us and Ben led us in. We got inside the shopping centre before girls started trying to get close to the boys. Ben and Mick prevented them from doing anything crazy. Louis locked eyes with me.

"This is where things get insane."

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Two hours later we hadn't done any actual shopping but the boys had signed hundreds and hundreds of autographs. A few things stood out to me; that a couple of girls were here but not even trying to see One Direction- they were talking to a camera and a reporter. I couldn't see them clearly but there seemed to be a lot of fuss going on around them. Also, there were lots of haters. They came in groups, some waving signs, others yelling and cussing about us. Each time, Harry and Niall sent them away, and asked Zera and I if we wanted to leave. And each time, we said no. She looked pretty upset by it. She tended to let it get to her more, and I just ignored it.

ZERA'S POV
I tried to ignore the hate, but if a group of a dozen girls start telling you to kill yourself, it's hard to ignore. Harry touched my shoulder.

"Are you okay? Really, we are gonna leave soon, I promise," he reassured me. I nodded and swallowed back my sadness. I looked at Ella, standing next to me.

"Ignore those bitches," Ella said. Easy for her to say. She didn't take anything seriously. I just nodded.

I noticed she was looking towards the edge of the shop and I followed her gaze. There were two girls, our age, talking to the press. Then a gasp, or a scream, I don't know, rose from my stomach and lodged in my throat.

Daisy.

"Ella! Ohmigod, Ella look! It's Daisy- and- and the other girl who attacked us!" I whispered. Ella frowned.

"How can you tell? They're so far away." I shrugged.

"I don't know! But Ells, seriously, what are they doing here?"

"I don't know! Should we tell them?" Ella said. I knew what "them" meant. She wanted to know if we should tell the boys or the bodyguards that Daisy and the other girl were here.

I didn't know. Should we tell them? What if they freaked out and said we needed to leave? But really, what's the worst they could do? They wouldn't attack us again, we had bodyguards to protect us. I shook my head.

"No, they'll only worry. We should let them meet fans," I said, and Ella nodded her agreement.

"Okay. It's not like they can hurt us," she said, mirroring my thoughts.

"Yeah, we don't need to worry about it."

I acted like I was fine about them being here, but inside I was suspicious, scared and angry. I was suspicious because, why would they be talking to the press? I was scared because they were talking to the press, and who knows what they were saying? I was angry because, did the officials really let the girls who attacked us in close range to all of us? I was mostly angry. Angry was my normal emotion- in fact, some school counsellor suggested I see an anger management class thing when I got into a brawl at school. Apparently I punched a boy when he said girls couldn't play sport. I don't remember.

Anyway, enough with the memories. I needed to find out what Daisy and other girl were doing. I looked at Ella and could tell she was thinking the same.

"Ella, what are they doing?" I asked her again, like she'd magically know the answer.

"I don't know, but we need to find out."

"How? Should we go over to them? Harry and Niall would never let us!" I exclaimed.

"We'd never let you do what?"
I spun around to see Harry and Niall standing behind us.

"Nothing!" Ella blurted out and started fidgeting. She always did that when she was lying.

"Well, obviously it was something." Niall rolled his eyes.

"Um, we need to go to the toilet!" I lied desperately.

"What? Why wouldn't we let you go to the toilet?" Harry said, laughing.

"I don't know, like, you might think that girls would attack us!" Ella stammered. We were terrible liars.

"You girls are terrible liars. What is it really?" Niall said, echoing my thoughts. I sighed.

"It doesn't matter." Lie.

"Yes it does!"

"No it doesn't!" We sounded like first graders.

"Whatever. As long as- as long as you haven't got any more messages," Niall said. We shook our heads.

"No, none,"

"Good. Okay, we should go and sign more posters and stuff. The fans will be going mad," Harry said. He hugged me, and the crowd started screaming. Niall looked awkward and gave Ella a nervous little hug, which was adorable. They walked back to the crowd and grabbed some more pens.
