Prompt: Jamie tells Alex he's pregnant on Christmas Day.

Jamie's POV

Alex and I were over at Matthew's house for Christmas because we all decided to open presents at the same house to be together as a family.

Melissa sighed, sitting down next to her mate on the couch. "Alright, I think that was the last present."

I cleared my throat and Matthew smiled at me because he knew what my surprise was going to be. Alex gripped my hand in his, giving me a weird look. "What is it?"

"I have one more gift for you that's a surprise to everyone as well." I told him, smiling up at him.

He sighed. "Baby, you've already gotten me so much."

I chuckled. "Well, this present I couldn't exactly control myself."

Matthew laughed and reached over, handing me the perfectly wrapped small rectangle box that I asked him to keep in his pocket until we were done opening presents.

Once I had it in my hand, I handed it to Alex, who just gave me a skeptical look. I chucked. "Just open it, baby."

He ripped the wrapping paper and once he saw the black box I put the test in, he looked up at me. "Should I be scared?"

I chuckled. "Depends on what you mean by scared."

"I think that this is a good thing, Alex. Just open it and see for yourself." Matthew said, rubbing Jack's stomach since he has recently found out he was pregnant.

Alex lifted the top of the box off and once he did, his eyes widened. He looked up at me with tears in his eyes as he saw the test. "Are you serious, baby?"

I nodded. "I'm dead serious, Alex."

"Wait, what is it?" Melissa asked.

Alex stood up, pulling me with him and picked me up in his arms. My legs wrapped around his waist as he spun us around. Once he stopped, he put our foreheads together. "I love you so much, baby."

"I love you too." I whispered.

"What's going on?" Joey asked.

"We're having a baby." Alex whispered, cupping my face in his hands.

The whole room gasped, except for Matthew because he was already smiling at his beta'a reaction. I covered my face as my mom ran up to me and pulled me into a tight hug as Alex's parents hugged him just as tight.

"Jamie..." my mom said, tears running down her face.

Alex came over to me, setting his hand on my lower back, kissing my forehead. I ran a hand through my hair. "What's up, Mom?"

"Your father would be so proud of you." Mom said and I felt tears sting my eyes. Alex wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me close to him.

"I wish he was here." I whispered, setting the back of my head against Alex's shoulder.

"I know, baby, I wish he was too. It would've been great to meet him and have him be there when our baby is born." Alex told me, kissing the top of my head.

"Fuck." I cursed, turning around in my mate's arms, holding myself close to him. He ran his hands up-and-down my back, trying to calm me down. I pulled away from my mate, wiping the tears away.

"You okay?" He asked me.

"Yeah, yeah, this is supposed to be an amazing moment. We're having a baby, Alex." I told him, pulling on the collar of his flannel.

"We are having a baby, Jamie. How do you feel about it? Are you okay? How did you know?"

I chuckled at his sudden slur of questions. "I'm so happy about it, darling. I'm okay, but I've been having pretty bad morning sickness before you wake up. But once I started feeling nauseous and dizzy at certain points of the day and throwing up right once I wake up, I talked to Matthew about it. He told me that this is what happened with Jack when he got pregnant."

Alex looked over at the alphas and nodded at Matthew. "Thank you for helping him."

"Anytime, man." Matthew said, wrapping his arms around Jack's shoulders.

Alex turned towards me, smiling at me. "I'm so happy about this, Jamie. You have no idea. This is the start of our lives! We're having a baby! Oh, should we start buying stuff? Planning for a nursery? We have to move sooner than we thought."

Alex and I had talked to Matthew and Jack and we had decided to move into a house that was recently vacated by members of the pack because they moved out. It's two stories high and there's a kitchen on the bottom floor. Alex and I will occupy the bottom floor that has two bedrooms and a bathroom connecting to the master bedroom.

Matthew and Jack will take the top floor that has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Their room is not as big as our, but they only gave it to us because I need the most closet space.

"Baby, calm down. I'm only a few weeks pregnant. We can start getting stuff after we move, so we have places to put all the stuff. Let's just talk about the move later because I think we should go lay down."

Alex chuckled. "Tired?"

"Extremely." I said, grabbing his hand and pulling him up to the guest room because I was too tired to walk all the way back to my house.

Alex pulled me into our arms after pulling the covers up over us. He kissed the back of my neck, setting his hand over my stomach.

"I love you, princess."

"I love you too."

"And we love you, our baby." Alex said, rubbing my stomach, making me laugh.
