Everyone Loves To Hate

Chapter Nineteen

Jack and Karlie had gone back to their hotel to get ready to go by themselves to the colosseum. We were all going to go out tonight but we all wanted to go to different places. Justin and Jade wanted to go to the leaning tower of Pisa and Amy and Tim were no where to be found and Cal and I wanted to see the Piazza Navona it was one of the oldest buildings in Italy. It was made in the 1st century, apparently the Romans used the Piazza Navona as a stadium to watch their games at. It was also known as the 'Circus Agonalis' other words - competition area.

Cal and I were really interested in anything that involved competition. In our lines of work, all out life revolves around is competition. I am a event planner - in training of course. I love it, it's a competitive job with all the agencies wanting the big grand name, having clients calls twenty four hours of the day, having big companies to want you to organise an event for them, to plan weddings for a superstar have yourself booked out for the next two or three years, heck even a birthday for the queen.

It's my big dream to be in the top three companies in the event planning business. Calum loved my passion for event planning. I adored his line of work, he is a singer, song writer and a producer. He and his friends Jack, Justin, Reece and Peter all co-owned a very big company. It is known world wide, all their super stars have made it to number one on billboards, sold over 50 million albums, sold out concerts you name it. No one is better in the industry.

Cal made he's way to the top slowly. He knows how competitive it is and he likes the competitiveness, I think that's why we're so close. Anything that revolves competition makes our adrenaline rush.

Piazza Navona is one place we both agreed on. It was amazing there, it was all made out of stone. It had a big water fountain at the north end of the Piazza and a water fountain at south end. They had beautiful monuments, everything made us feel so small, the buildings were high, I guess it was so they could see the games in ancient times. The lights had lit up the whole place at night, it look fantastic! They had a little cafe called 'Carry Me Italy!' Calum and I had our dinner there, it was a beautiful Italian food you could taste the fresh vegetables and the fresh herbs, it reminded me of home. I loved the smell of my Nunnu (Grandpa) and Nunna's (Grandma) food, although we were not Italian, we are Maltese. Which is a little island underneath Italy, they call it 'the fly poop' on the map because it is very tiny it still feels like home to me.

'What are you thinking about?' Calum asked smiling gorgeously at me. 'Home, all the good things about home. What about you?' I asked, 'You, you're a gorgeous girl Claudia' he said, I blushed. 'Thank you.' I said drinking my margarita. 'Lets go for a walk!' Cal said grabbing me to go. 'Lets pay!' I payed and he didn't like it 'you're mean. I'm so paying next time!' He said putting his arm around me, I got more butterflies than before. I could stay like this forever, we walked and we walked and we walked, we took photos of the beautiful ancient buildings, took photos of each other and of the view from the piazza, you could see beautiful mountains, the ocean, and we could see the city. It was perfect, he grabbed my hand as it reached midnight, we stopped right next to a beautiful water fountain. He looked deeply into my eyes making me feel all gooy inside, I couldn't stop blushing.

I put my hands around his neck gently and he put his hands around my waist, he kissed me on the head and pulled me closer, we cuddled for a while and we just rocked side to side, I stopped and looked up at his gorgeous brown eyes again, he was so beautiful. i leant in for a kiss looking at him deeply in his eyes. As we got closer our stares felt more deep. He closed his eyes and I had closed mine. I brush my lips on his hoping he'd finish what i had started. 'are you sure?' He whispered. 'Yes Calum, I'm sure' I whispered back, our lips finally met, it felt like everything in the moment had frozen, it was just cal and I, our kiss gets more and more passionate, he lifts me up and I wrap my legs around him. Our tongues are getting tangled but we don't stop, I couldn't help but smile. Calum is the one I want to be with for the rest of my life, I know I've only known him for a month now, but I want to be his for the rest of my life. We stop and smile, leaving our eyes shut and just taking in the moment. 'Will you be my girlfriend now?' He asks, 'yes I would love to be' I replied.

My alarm goes off at 7:00 am. I look around to see my surroundings, I see Calum on the floor hugging Tim, Amy in bed with me, Karlie and jack on the floor and justin and jade already up playing cards, they were such a cute couple i just wanted to cuddle them all the time.

'What? What happened last night?' I asked jade. 'Well, you and cal went out for dinner, you guys got a little but to wasted, we came to take you home because you were crying. Apparently Calum was hugging you for like half an hour trying to calm you down?' She replied. I - I'm really shocked. 'Uh- really? What did I cry about! Did anything else happen? Between me and Calum?' I asked baffled. 'No, you were calling wills name out and just crying, Calum didn't want to take advantage of you like that.' She said putting her cards down. 'So we didn't kiss?' I asked wanting to know more. 'No, sorry hunny. You kept screaming out last night for Calum to kiss you though. He didn't know what to do so he just put you to sleep' she said. I'm so embarrassed. 'Oh my goodness. I'm sorry!' I said putting my hands over my head regretting last night. 'Dont be sorry you couldn't help what happened so stop being silly! Oh and happy birthday!' She said giving me a warm hug. 'Yeah, happy birthday Claudia! You're 18 now woo!' Justin said hugging me as well. 'Thanks guys, I'm going to pop into the shower, I'll be out soon.' I whispered as I jumped over Tim and Calum who are still cuddling. So adorable, I am getting my phone out to capture this one! ~snap~ post on twitter...
