I walked through the halls of my new school as fast as I could. Keep my eyes down and look down and no one will notice-
"Hey Liza!" Well so much for that.
I slowly turned around. "H-h-hey," I can't really stop my stuttering, especialy now that I'm here. "h-hows it g-g-going?"
Keelie walked up to me. "Not much, sensei pulled a pop quiz on up in science today. Oh yeah! you were there! We're in the same class aren't we!?"
I nodded, "Y-yeah we are. We've b-been n each others c-class f-f-for a wh-while now."
"So, how's it ging?"
"W-what are you t-t-talking about?" I shivered. I didn't like being around monsters. I liked them themselves, they were actually really nice, but when they didn't look like humans I naturaly become tensed up.
"You now, being the only huma-"
I covered her mouth. "Shut it!"
"OH YEAH! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!" I facepalmed.
"Keelie, you just screamed that....really loud."
"OH REALLY! SORRY!" she screamed again.
"I gotta go to Home Ec. See you later!"
"That's one of the first times you haven't stuttered around me!" She grinned really big, I couls start to see the tip of her cat ears poking out of her hair. She didn't disguise herself very well when she got to happy.
"G-g-great!"
"And there she goes again." Then, Bailie and Rylie foud Keelie in the crowded hallways. Those three always amaze me. They're triplets but they are all compleately different species. Keelie is a cat girl, Bailie is what humans call a wherewolf, and Rylie is an angeloid. They're all what some would call the school idols, but we have a lot of those fore some reason.
In this school there are three groups. There are the Idols, making up about thirty percent of the school population. The school idols friends, or the F's (right around were I am) making up about twenty percenct of the school. Then, there's the normal students (just called students) that want to be the idols, making up the other fifty percent.
I walked down the halls, trying to not jostle into any of my other schoolmates. Reed was with Justin, those two where what humans would call the "party group" They did whatever they wanted, when they wanted, got punished for it, and continued to do whatever they wanted. Justin and Reed didn't really disguise himself like the others. He and Reed are in a race called the dracnoids. They have pointy ears, a little devil tail, and bat wings. Justin flapped his wings and hit a lot of people, did her care? Nope. Reed was doing the same, I just walked by.
I ran into Nekane, she was a mouse girl. She was friendly to everyone and was on the school patrol team and she tryed really hard to be everyones friend. "Hiya!" she walked up to me. "Going to Home Ec?" Without waiting for a responce she went on. "Cool, me too. I like home Ec. too bad I'm in 1-B and your in 1-A. It really isn't the same without everyone from middle school in my class. I was going to talk to Bicandi about transferring. Wouldn't that be great!? Then I could convine everyone elce in the other classes to transfer too! We could all be back in the same class again!"
I nodded. "Yeah, loads of fun." I actually did like that idea. After eigth grade, I found out everyone in my grade was a manster. Not the eat all the humans and take over the planet monster, but the kind like vampires and wherewolves and hybrids and stuff like that. I don't know how a human like me got mixed into the numbers for this school, but I did. Other then the kids from middle school know I'm not a monster. The teachers probobly would have eaten me if they found out. I keep a low profile.
