Jasper grinned and began to move forward. "Lapis!"
Lapis moved away from her and the Quartz boy jumped to shield her. He began to say something about Lapis not wanting to see her, but Jasper wasn't really listening.
"You have the dulled-down version of Rose Quartz working for you now?" Jasper asked, then scoffed.
She tried to get closer, but the Quartz was blocking her. In her frustration she knocked him out of the way, stepping forward and getting on her knees. She held Lapis' hands. "Fuse with me again!"
Jasper waited for a moment, hopeful. She wanted Lapis. Wanted to be with Lapis. She craved that feeling of being wanted. She felt... Somehow hollow without Lapis, and wanted to feel together again.
It all came crashing down as Lapis finally responded. "No."
For a moment, Jasper was still. When the words finally registered she whipped her head around to glare at the Quartz boy. "This is your fault! I'll SHATTER YOU!!!"
She charged at the Quartz, her teeth clenched and her helmet appearing. She grinned wickedly as the child's face morphed to one of fear.
Rose will finally get what she deserves! I will shatter her gem beyond recognition for taking my Lapis! I will erase her from existence and-
Jasper's thoughts were cut off as a rush of water crashed into her. She felt wind and realized that the boat had become a speck in the distance. Lapis...
Really didn't want her.
