I was running after Enid in the woods we were both laughing at the same time and it was hard to do. I felt something grab my leg. I thought it was a Walker trying to bite me but it was just her.

I fell down on my back cracking up. We both just lay in a pile of leaves right next to each other.

Suddenly I heard a soft scream. It was Enid. I looked beside me and some person grabbed her and held and knife to her neck.

I panicked in fear. It was a teenage boy that looked like he would break a puppy's neck.

"Tell me where your from, or else I'll kill the girl." He grinned.

I saw tears dripping from Enid's face. I didn't know what to do! I had no gun with me.

"Tell me where you live cowboy!" He yelled. Enid jumped. I didn't hesitate and told him we lived in Alexandria.

"Lead the way." He put Enid up and grabbed a gun to her head. I told him okay and led the way in nervousness. The whole time he had that stupid gun to her head. I looked back at her every few seconds.

"Th-this is the p-place." I said in fear he let Enid go  and she ran up and hugged me crying. I hugged back tearing up a bit. We ran inside the walls and he was already there. He had a gang with him.

They came with guns and machetes, axes, you name it. Me and Enid got in our home with Rick. He told us to go hide in the closet by the nearest bedroom.

We can hear gunshots and stabbings. I heard the door creek and this guy was talking with my dad. He searched the house for things to have.

He opened up the closet door that me and Enid were in. "Please don't hurt us!" Enid yelled fast.

The guy grabbed us out of the closet and while that he hurt my arm. "Anyone else in here Rick?!" The guy said sternly.

"N-no," my dad confirmed. "Well we'll be taking your things and this girl." He smiled.

"NO!!" I screamed. "Don't touch her!!!" They all looked at me. He grabbed Enid by the hair. "Ow!" She cried and sobbed. "Please! Don't!"

I jumped right in front of him. "Don't you dare take her or hurt her in any way!!" A tear goes down my face.

"Awe little cowboy is sticking up for his girlfriend how sweet!!" He laughed. "Just stop this!!" My dad yelled.

The guy let go of her and grabbed the things he wanted. When he grabbed everything he shot Enid right in the leg.

"So long!" He smirked and ran out the door. "Oh my gosh!" She sobbed in pain and her back hit the wall and she fell.

"You BITCH!" I screamed even though he left. I held Enid in my arms crying. "It's okay Enid! You will be okay!" I whispered.

"Dad do something!" I yelled. "I'll go get the first aid hold on." He ran down stairs as fast as he could.

"Am I going to be alright carl?" She asked shaking . "Don't worry Enid...y-you are. I kissed her on the forehead.
