We went to the theater to see Sing, but it was sold out, so we saw Moana. It was amazing! Hay-Hay was hilarious, Maui and Moana both have the best personalities, Maui was hilarious, the grandma was amazing and sweet and I cried at her and Moana's reunion on the boat. I can't remember the names, but the lava monster turning into the mother goddess was awesome and I so did NOT see that coming! The mother goddess was wonderful and the little scene she had where she was giving Maui the look for stealing her heart was hilarious. The ocean was amazing! It was super cool to see it as a character. Moana's dad was sweet and funny and so painful and relatable, and the scene where Moana's parents see the ship coming and run down to the beach was heartbreakingly amazing. Also we watched the credits and not only Lin-Manuel Miranda but also Phillipa Soo had voices in it! I didn't know that.
Overall, it was amazing :D
