I quite like my idea for this story so I'm going to keep writitng it for you guys. So this is just a small chapter to keep you going for a bit longer (not another two years though). I'll edit it and make it longer and such when I finish the story :)

Skye's POV
It was a week until I saw him again. Mason.
I was kind of disappointed actually that I didn't see him as much. I knew his name now, so every chance I got, I'd ask someone about him. I wanted to know who on earth he was.
Of course all those hyenas we refer to as girls think he's that 'smoking hot new boy' and their 'future husband.' I actually nearly choked when a girl mentioned that last revelation. Mason is not the kind of guy I would imagine as being a husband. He doesn't seem like the family type, you know? All brooding and mysterious.
Asshole.
The fact that I wanted to know so much about him was probably just a tad creepy though. What if he was on the way to see a dying family member that night and I just ran into him? I'd probably die myself of embarrassment.
I needed someone to support my craziness. Someone to help me uncover whether or not I had hit him because if that was the case then how the hell did he not die? Or even get injured? He sure didn't look injured when I left him that night. To think he could have even jumped on my car. From what? I was in the middle of the road! There's not a tree close enough to jump off from. I know parkour is some 'thing' now but no way could any person possibly do what he did. In complete darkness I might add, in the middle of a storm.
"Please tell me I'm not going mentally insane." I pleaded my friend Eve.
We were in the library wandering through the book isles while she searched for some history book. It was late in the afternoon and most people were off to their apartments not wanting to be anywhere near a lecture room.
"So you think this new Mason guy was the person you hit with your car two years ago?" Eve turned her head to the side to look at me, with an eyebrow raised.
"It's the eyes!"
"SHHHHH." Some girl sitting down at a table glared at me.
"Oh go home like everyone else." I told her.
"Savage." Eve mumbled while the girl slammed her book shut and walked away. "It just seems like too much of a coincidence Skye. I want to believe you but that night was two years ago. You couldn't really see him in the dark either and hun no offence but I know what you're memory is like and surprisingly eyes are very similar to each other."
Eve had picked out a couple of books and took them over to the desk to hire them out. I followed after her, shocked and slightly annoyed that she wouldn't support me or even help me figure out if he was that guy.
"Fine I'll work it out myself."
"Skye... Why is it so important for you to know?" Eve looked genuinely curious.
"I, I'm not sure yet." I told her because honestly, I didn't know. Not yet.
As I headed out of the library, I thought maybe I could go home and look up if anything strange came up in the news about that night. Maybe I could find out if anyone was admitted to the hospital or told a story about getting hit by a car or trying to claim they did some stupid trick and jumped onto one.
Unfortunately, when I walked out to head to my apartment, my arm was grabbed and I was pushed up against the side of the university.
My hands were pinned up above my head and when I looked up I saw two pale blue eyes looking down at me.
"What the-"
"You need to stop fucking spying on me." Mason hissed at me.
"Excuse me?" I tried wiggling free but his grip on my hands didn't loosen in the slightest. In fact, he actually pressed his legs to mine as if to make sure I didn't try to leave again.
"I've heard you asking questions about me and you need to back off. Stay out of my business."
I know I should probably have told him why I was asking questions. About how I just needed to know if he was the one I hit that night but the fact that he was being such an ass made it hard for me to just tell him. He clearly had some sort of secret and I was determined to figure out what now.
"Hiding something are we, Mason?" I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Skye. Do not and I repeat do not go asking questions about my personal life again. You can't get involved in my life, okay?" He looked so determined to get me to agree, to promise him but the more he talked the more confused and curious I got.
"What the fuck are you talking about? Are you in the damn mafia or something?" I questioned.
Mason leaned his face down so his lips were beside my ear and his breath caused my heartbeat to accelerate.
"Don't look for me Skye." Mason stepped away slowly from me and then turned around and started to walk off.
"That's kind of hard when we go to the same university." I called out the him.
I could swear when he looked back at me there was a smirk on his face.
