Flippin Brennan

Part Four

You and Brennan had been texting a lot lately. You both found out a lot about eachother. The more you guys talked the more attracted you were to him. He was the sweetest guy you had ever met. You were homeschooled all your life so you didn't get out much except for gymnastics, where you met Katie.
"Mom! Katie invited us to go to the water park with her family tomorrow! Can we go?" you asked.
"I don't know honey, I have work tomorrow."
"Please, please, please mom! Pretty please with whipped cream, fudge, and a cherry on top!"
"Okay fine, I'll take off work honey." she said with a smile.
The whole day seemed to go by slower than ever. You were super excited to go to the water park. It was finally 10:00 and you were getting pretty tired so you decided to go to bed. You went upstairs and put on your gray shorts with teal polka dots and threw on an old t shirt and got in bed. You set your alarm for 8:00 because you had to be at Katie's house by 9. You were afraid you weren't going to be able to sleep because of excitement but as soon as you put your phone down you rolled over and fell asleep almost immediately.
*Beep* *Beep* Your alarm went off and you groaned not wanting to get up. You almost hit the snooze but then you popped right up.
"We're going to the water park today!" you said to yourself.
You put on a plain white bikini top that had frills on it and put on teal bottoms. You put on your cut-off jean shorts and a flowy white tank top over your swimsuit. You threw your hair up in a messy bun and went downstairs for breakfast.
"Morning mom." you said.
"Good morning sweetie! I made muffins earlier, do you want one?" she asked.
Your eyes went wide and you nodded your head vigorously. Her muffins were your favorite. You got a text from Katie and she said they'd be over in five minutes. When they got to your house you hopped in the back with Katie, your mom got in the front with Miss Jill, and Brennan and Ryan were in the middle. When you got to the park everyone got out and Miss Jill passed out the wristbands. You went inside and the first thing you were drawn to was the tallest ride there.
"Anybody up to go on that one with me?" you asked.
Katie and Ryan shook their heads no but Brennan offered to go on with you. You all found some chairs and took off your shoes. You took off your shorts and tank top and put on sunscreen, as did everyone else. You and Brennan went to the ride while Katie and Ryan headed the opposite direction. You talked the whole way up and you really enjoyed it. When you guys were almost up Brennan turned and looked at you.
"Y/n." he said.
"What's up?" you asked and tilted your head confused.
"I really like you." he looked at his toes shyly.
"Really?" you asked shocked.
He nodded his head slightly.
"I do too!" you exclaimed.
His head popped up and there was a huge smile on his face. He wrapped his arms around you and gave you a hug. His hugs were so nice and comforting. You could tell this was the start of something great.
