Flippin Brennan

Part Nine

You hadn't really seen Brennan in almost two weeks and you really missed him. The only time you got to see him was when he came to Katie and your gymnastics practice which didn't happen often. Even then all you got to do was give him a quick hug then you had to leave. You were sitting in your bed thinking about Brennan when you heard your phone go off. It was Brennan.

B: Hey!
Y: Hey! I miss you we need to hang out
B: That was actually what I texted you for. Do you wanna go to the amusement park this week?
Y: Yeah! I'd love to. What day?
B: If you're not busy then my mom said you can come Friday night and we can go on Saturday?
Y: Yeah that sounds great!
B: I gotta go but I'm really excited!
Y: Me too! See ya

You were beyond excited. This was pretty much your first official date with Brennan. Friday couldn't come soon enough but once it was there it seemed even slower. Each class at school seemed 4 times longer but the moment the last bell rang you grabbed your backpack and ran out the door. Your mom was picking you up and taking you straight to Katie's house. Your bags were already packed so you were ready to go. When you got there your mom kissed your forehead then you ran to the door.
"Katie!!!" you yelled as she opened the door. You saw Katie four times a week but it felt like forever since you had seen her.
"Hi y/n!" Miss Jill said.
"Hi Miss Jill!" you replied.
"Brennan doesn't know you're coming this early," Miss Jill explained, "but he's in his room so you can go surprise him."
You plopped your bags on the couch in the living room and quietly ran upstairs. You opened his door slightly and saw his back was turned away playing video games so you went up and hugged him from behind.
"Katie what are you doi- y/n!!" he turned around and hugged you like he hadn't seen you in years. "I didn't think you were coming till later!"
"I wanted to surprise you!" you said.
All night you hung out with Katie and Brennan. You went swimming, played board games, and ate. A lot. It was finally time to sleep so you brought all your stuff to Katie's room and changed into your pj's. You got in your sleeping bag and dreamy about what tomorrow would be like. When you woke up you grabbed your bag and went into the bathroom to shower. You figured you'd have enough time because everyone was asleep. You got out and changed into a pair of light skinny jeans, black high top converse, and a maroon flowy tank top. You put your hair into a messy bun on the top of your head and went downstairs. Katie and Miss Jill were awake but Brennan and Ryan were still asleep. Miss Jill was in the kitchen cooking bacon and eggs. When it was done you were in the middle of eating and Brennan came downstairs.
"Hey y/n!" he said.
"Goodmorning." you replied.
Everybody was ready so you headed out to the car. Miss Jill and Mr. Mike were in the front, Ryan was in the back, and you were in the middle with Katie and Brennan. On the way there you played the alphabet game, 20 questions, and all the other cliché games played in the car. You were all just sitting in silence and Brennan was staring out the window.
"Watcha thinking about Brennan?" you asked.
"How lucky I am to have you." he replied. He leaned in and kissed you. You thought to yourself 'I think I'm the lucky one."

I hope you enjoyed and I hope its not too cliché. Also this is kinda random but the other night I had a dream that I was stuck in an arcade at the mall overnight on new years eve and I was dating Brennan so I didn't get to kiss him at midnight but after my brother came and got me out I went to the hotel Brennan's family was staying at (idk why they were at a hotel) and I ran up to him and gave him a huge hug 😂😂
