Saizo Kirigakure x MC
Rating: GI've been in the kitchen for some time making a massive amount of dango. Everyone says this is futile since Saizo always ends up eating them all, but I still can't see how he can eat so much. Anyway, I made his favorite and went to his room to bring them to him. However, he wasn't there.
After asking around, no one could tell me where saizo was or could have been. But, when I really thought about it, he was a creature of habit and so I climbed a ladder to the roof and found that the ninja was there after all. He seemed to be on the cusp of a nap and I didn't want to wake him. So, as quietly as I could, I placed the plate not far and sat next to him.
He looks so amazing when he trains but, when he sleeps, Saizo looks almost angelic. I couldn't help brushing a few strands from his face as they blew in the gentle breeze.
"Covetous, aren't we?" A smile formed on those lips before me and so blush at the simple gesture. Slowly, those eyes open and gaze upon me.
"I couldn't help it," I reply as I lower my gaze. "You looked so peaceful. I really hoped I wouldn't wake you..."
"Or, were you thinking that a kiss might do the trick?" A roughshod grin played on his lips as he brushed hair from my face. He barely moved from his lying position as he did this.
"N-no, why would you think such a thing?!" I can feel my face turning red as I look back to him. "I just -" My words were cut off by a slender finger to my lips.
Saizo sat up and faced me. "Sure you don't want to try it? Wake me up with a kiss, hmm?" The mirth was clear in his eyes as his gaze locked with mine and the heat remained on my cheeks. Before I could reply with the excuse of dango, his lips connect with mine. Their soft warmth catch me every time. Slowly, he distances himself from me and has a lustful look in his eyes. "So, still not wanting to give it a try? See if your true love's kiss will wake me up?"
"I-I think you're plenty away now," I stammer as her sit as we are. "Besides, you're dango are waiting."
"Can't I have both?" He chuckled as he distanced himself to grab a skewer.
"You already do. Just not at the same time..." I fidget with my sleeve to avoid his gaze until dango appear in my view.
"I can only continue to love dango as I do because of you." I look up to see Saizo's tender gaze upon me and flush as I slowly take the skewer from him. "So, of course I can have both at the same time. Because without one, the other cannot exist."
His words made my heart jump. To prevent myself from stammering like a fool, I ate the dango. We sat like this for the duration of the skewers, the sun shining upon us and the cool breeze greeting us in silence as we enjoyed each other's company.
