I did not go to school today because i really did not have the energy after so much crying lastnight. My mom took the day off as well today, although she acts like the news did not affect her i know deep down she is still in love with him.
I am here sitting on the couch watching the television and eating Ice cream. My phone began to ring, i looked at the caller ID and notice that it was Jada. I let it ring until it finally stops, i am really not in the mood to talk to anyone right now.
After a few more minutes the doorbell rang. Ugh doesn't Jada know personal space. I get up out of the couch and went to the door.
"Ugh Jada i am not-" i said opening the door only to see that it wasn't Jada.
"Hey" he said flashing me a million dollar smile.
"Oh, sorry about that i thought you were Jada" i said fidgeting with the door knob.
He just stared at me, "You know you are very cute when you smile?".
I felt all the blood rushed in my cheeks.
"T-thank Y-you" i said stuttering. He thinks i am cute when i smile he's adorable when he smiles with those two dimples that sinks in when he smiles.
"Umm... I was wondering if you still want to have the tutoring session today?"
Oh crap i forgot about that. I have a Maths test within two weeks and i am so not prepared.
"Or i can come back tuesday then if you want me to"
"No! Today is ok" i said way too quickly. I opened the door a little wider and allowed him to past then i shut the door.
"Mom" i yelled.
"Yes hun?" she asked peeking out of the kitchen.
"Umm this is Xavier and he is going to be here Tuesdays and Thursday to tutor me on maths"
"Ok, but dinner will be ready in a few minutes so before you guys start, come and have some dinner"
"Ok mom. I am going to be in the living room call me when it is finished!" i bellowed as i walk into the living room. I sat on the couch and Xavier took a seat a couple meters away from me.
"So... Why didn't you come to school today?" he asked with concern in his voice," i thought something was up, so i asked your friend and she told me she didn't know why you didn't show and and she tried calling you but just got straight to voicemail"
"I'm fine" i totally lied, " i was just tired with all the school work".
"Really?" he asked looking straight in my eyes as if trying to see if i was telling the truth.
"Y-yeah" i stammered trying to divert my attention to something, because i couldn't keep up with the staring contest.
"If you say so" he said with a smile tugging at his lips.
"Dinner is ready!" my mom shouted. We got up and went to dining table.
This is gonna be a long night i thought.
