We haven't even gotten to the worst part
You tore me a part pice by pice
Using your words as daggers
And your thoughts as water
Drowning me not letting me
Get a single breath of air
You convinced me with those
Coffee eyes that you
Would never leave me
You broke me down
You lied
And I didn't know
Jealousy could cause
So much harm
But jealousy was the lighter fluid
Adding to the wildfire of events
And the drought was soon to come
Medicating the drowning
But but suffocating the grounded
Soon we all break down
Except you
And I envy that
Because you don't seem to feel
But we were just basic people
In a basic world
With basic feelings
And I thought we were basically the same
But I guess the basics aren't as basic as
