The Uchiha's Protector[ON HOLD NOT SURE UNTIL WHEN]

Chapter 14

"YEAH!" Naruto yelled with enthusiasm with both of his arms raised in the air as soon as he stepped out of the village.  "Alright!" he went on. You were right beside him with a smile on your face to see how childish he was acting. 

" Why are you so exited about, Naruto?" asked Sakura who was standing behind Sasuke, as usual. 

"This is the first time I ever left the village, now I am a traveler now. Believe it!" he said while looking everywhere. 

"Hey! Am I supposed to trust my life to this rant? He's a joke." The bridge builder said pointing at him. 

Naruto's eye began to twitch and the old man's comment angered you. " Look who's talking." You muttered but only you were able to hear it; talking like this about the clients wasn't accepted.  

Kakashi only laughed when the old man insulted Naruto. " He's with me and I am a Jounin besides  [Name] is also a Jounin, so you don't need to worry." Kakashi pointed at you when he mentioned your name. 

Naruto's twitching didn't stop then he spoke. " Hey never insult a ninja, big mistake. And I am one of the biggest ninjas ever.  Some day I am going to be Hokage and you will look up to me. My name is Naruto Uzumaki, remember it." And he was finished with his speech. 

The old man only drank more alcohol and then he said, " Hokage,  powerful and wise. You are  brainless. The day you become a Hokage, I will sprout wings and fly." He looked at Naruto while saying this. 

" Oh , shut up! I am willing to do anything to become a Hokage, no matter what it takes." Naruto defended. 

" Would you shut the hell up, old man." With narrowed eyes you told the old man. He was insulting Naruto. It angered you to hear how this man told Naruto all those insults and even more about Naruto's dream of becoming Hokage. Naruto lounged forward,  ready to fight the old man but Kakashi grabbed him from his backpack, Naruto only kept struggling. 

You stared at the old man who only seemed to care about drinking. " Don't waste your time on this old man, Naruto. There is no need for you to prove anything to anybody. You'll be a great Hokage." Glancing back at Naruto and comforted him with a soft smile. Then your sight went back to the old man and narrowed your eyes, he just kept drinking and started walking. 

On the way to the land of waves Sakura started asking if there were ninjas there but Kakashi told her  that there were no ninjas there. He then went on giving a lecture.  He then talked about how only the hidden villages had leaders with the title of Kage which meant Shadow. 

Sakura got exited about the news, " So lord Hokage must be really important." But you could clearly see that Naruto and Sakura were thinking. Naruto  and you were ahead and Sakura was walking beside Sasuke, just behind you. You rolled your eyes. 

"Hey!" Kakashi yelled from where he was. Everyone stopped, you turned around. 

"You just doubted Lord Hokake didn't you?" he asked in a serious voice. 

You only noticed that Naruto and Sakura seemed nervous and shook their heads, denying it. When you looked back at Kakashi you noticed that for some strange reason, Sasuke was staring at you, but then looked away.  You decided to ignored it rolling your eyes. What's up with him? you thought. 

"Well, anyway there are no ninja battles in a C-rank mission, so...you can relax." Kakashi placed his hand on top of Sakura's head, reassuring that there would be no trouble. 

" So we are not going to confront any foreign ninjas or anything like that." Then she smiled relieved about the news. Sasuke turned around now facing the rest and  Naruto narrowed his eyes. The old man stayed quiet but when you looked at him, there seemed something off. Why is he acting so strange all of a sudden after Sakura spoke? He's hiding something...but what? you thought  eying him suspiciously.
