The Uchiha's Protector[ON HOLD NOT SURE UNTIL WHEN]

Chapter 20

It has been some time since Kakashi and the others left, he told you to stay and to look out for Tatzona's grandson and his daughter. You were hoping to go with them since Zabuza could attack any minute, but Kakashi had order to keep them save and that you were going to do.

"You know, you can go. I am sure that we will be fine."Tatzuna's daughter noticed your anguish and sat down  next to you. 

You shook your head." I was ordered to stay and that I must do."

A laughed escaped her lips and her son also took the space next to his mother."You know, you act more like an adult than a child. Did your parents approved of your decision on you becoming a ninja?" she asked curious.

You looked down at your hands shaking your head."No, they are dead."The kid snapped his head to stare at you."I have no parents, just like Naruto and Sasuke."

She looked apogicaly. "I-" she began only to be cut off by the door which was being dislocated from its location.

"Haha, would you take a look at this." A man which looked more like a thief laughed glancing to the man next to him." So, that's the girl, right?" he asked pointing at you. The oder nodded with a smirk. They finally entered and now that they were able to be seen, you noticed that one of them was holding a sword while the other was holding a  metal bar. 

The one holding the sword swung his sword warming up."Well, let's see if she can put up a fight!" the man smiled wickedly.

"Don't forget that they want her alive." The other reminded.

"I'll just brake a few bones." The one with the sword responded closing the distance between the two of you.

Protect, that was why you  were ordered to do and that was what you were doing. You stood in front of Tatzuna's family with sword in hand. "Haha, look. She's trying to look tough." Again they mocked watching your serious voice.

And just after he said those words, he lunged himself at you, swinging his sword down at you. You brought your own and blocked the attack and pushing the man backward a few centimeters."Go!" you managed to yell so Tazuna's family could run away.

The other man who was just watching glanced at the two and laughed." Well, since you'll have your fun. So will I." And headed to get them.

This man didn't exactly look like a ninja and since you could sense no chackra, he surely wasn't. You kicked the sword with your right leg and for a moment, it was going to fall of the man's hands but he was able to recover it. That moment, even if it was a few seconds, you were able to use that time to make the hand sighs you needed."Shadow clone jutsu!" and with a poof, there was another you at your side.

Just when the man was about to attack you, you were able to run away. While your clone distracted the man, you needed to find Tatzuna's daughter and Inari so you  could save them. They were your priority and if you didn't get to them on time, you would regret it.

"Haha! What's wrong kid?" you heard a man ask laughing. When you arrived just outside the house, there was the man holding Inari from the back of his shirt. Since he was distracted, you took that opportunity and grabbed a a few kunais and threw them. Those kunais soon made contact with the man's neck. Tatzuna's grandson fell to the ground while his mother made a dash to get him. The man who was grasping his neck which was bleeding, turned around but as he turned around you dashed stopped just behind him, crouching.

A few drops of blood splashed your face and you made no move as to clean them."Go!" you yelled again for the other two to get away. A few seconds or so later the other guy returned but he was taken care of easily. You were then ambushed by other men, but  they too were taken care of. If they had been Shinobis, then it would have taken you more time to kill them but they were normal people and they could barely put up a fight, it was no trouble.

Once you realized that there weren't any more men attacking, you searched for those you were supposed to protect and told them to hide while you headed to the bridge. It seemed that there were men there. As much as you liked to hope that Kakashi could take care of them,  you would be lying, he would be fighting Zabuza and that was a challenge for Kakashi and having  more opponents would bring trouble.

Sure enough, you got there on time when Zabuza seemed to be killing but you were surprised that it wasn't Kakshi his opponent. He held a kunain in his mouth and he moved with speed killing those who threatened Kakashi and the others and he also got rid of Gato who was the one who wanted Tatzuna dead. 

On your way, you spotted a figure laying on the ground. And it seemed that the man was dead, he appeared to be young once you were able to see his face clearly. You fought a couple of your enemies when Zabuza couldn't take it anymore. Then, people from the land had enough and they too joined the battle and those who were about to fight ran away. 

One danger was out of the way, you noticed Sasuke on the ground and Sakura at his side crying. Even KAkashi seemed injured and Naruto wasn't staying behind either. Seeing that Sasuke needed more help than the others, you walked to where he was and crouched. Once you were kneeling, you placed your hands on his injuries and your hands started to glow. 

Sasuke only stared at you, watching you healing his injuries. "Is he going to be alright [Name]?" asked Sakura with worry.

You turned your head slightly and smiled not stopping what you were doing."He's going to be fine, don't worry." After you were done with that, you walked to where Naruto stood and worked on healing his injuries and then Kakashi followed. 

"[Name]? What about you?"Naruto asked worried that you hadn't taken care of your injuries, not that you were but seeing that you were covered in blood from killing a few men and their blood tainted your attire made it look as if you had gotten hurt.

Shaking your head, you smiled happy that the team was fine."I am ok, don't worry about me."

After recovering, you were all ready to go home. And that is how you stood next to a crying Naruto and Inari. As you watched them cry, you only noticed and admired how well Naruto thought. He was telling Inari that there was nothing wrong with crying, you that was what you avoided. "[Name]!" yelled Naruto catching you off guard and bringing you into the crying two-group. "R-right [Name]?" he asked cleaning his eyes but still having a hold of you.

You on the other hand just stood there watching Inari and Naruto, it was something that you hadn't seen for so long and it felt...good. You gave a real smile, a smile that you really felt and nodded."Yeah, Naruto." While the three of you, Kakshi and the others just watched amuse, well except for Sasuke who looked at you from the corner of his eye and then glanced at the laughing Naruto and glared.

"Sir?" when Kakshi and the team went to give the full details of the mission, you were asked to stay behind which gave you the feeling that he had bad news.

The Hokage stared at you with a serious expression, letting you know that he was deciding his next words."From what I've been told, that leaves me no option but to ask you to stay in the village."

Shaking your head, you stood up from the seat that had been offered to you. "Sir, I don't understand."

He sighed."I was informed that Zabuza was not only after Tatzuna but you too." He then stood up and faced the window, giving you his back." I have to make precautions, I can't simply let you go on missions while you are being pursued. That is too dangerous." 

Not sure what to say, you sat down defeated. As much as it pained you and angered you, you had to respect his orders. He's the Hokage and you are just a mere Kunoichi who has to follow orders, nothing more. "I understand."

"Good, go home and rest. I'll see what you can do, but for now on work with the other groups as long as you are in the Village. You're dismissed." 

With a nod and a spoof, you were gone shaking your head. The life of a kunoichi was to protect, or so  you thought. That was what you wanted and it was what it kept you alive, you wanted to feel that you were able to protect those who couldn't and now this? As much of a calm person you were, you wanted to tell the Hokage that you disagreed but you had to follow orders, and he just gave you one and there was no way out.
