"Hey [Name], what are you doing?" you were training when Naruto came in excited that they were about to go to another mission and you couldn't blame him, he just wanted to become stronger.

A few drops of sweat ran down your temple and you used your forearm to clean it." A mission?" you replied with another question without interest.

Naruto frowned at the serious face. Now that you faced him, you were surprised to see Sasuke and Sakura with him. They just didn't really get along and Sakura...well you were sure that she was here because of Sasuke.

"Hey what's wrong with ya?" he asked narrowing his eyes.

"Nothing, don't worry about it."As much as you wanted to tell him the truth, you preferred to lie, you just didn't want him to worry.

"So are you coming with us?!" he asked exited forgetting how serious you were.

Shaking your head, you looked around."Nope, sorry."

"Aw! Come on!" he insisted but you shook your head. As much as you wanted you couldn't and really you just didn't want to tell him why or he would be buggying the Hokage for the rest of the day and maybe the next few days.

"I can't I have to do a few things but I am sure that you will be fine. You've gotten stronger, and you will do just fine." This time, you smiled knowing that what you just said was true.

"Really?!" he asked with a grin scratching the back of his head.

Sasuke only watched crossing his arms and scoffing.Sakura only watched her lovely Sasuke."Yeah, Naruto. I have seen that you are getting better and better." And that made Sasuke look exasperated even more.

He jumped pumping a fist in the air."Yes!Believe it!"

You chuckled."Well, it is time that you all go and get ready. I have to get going too, just be careful, alright?" you asked everyone which surprised them, well not Naruto but the other two.

A nod was the response that Naruto gave you, while Saskura was mesmerized by Sasuke who in return turned away."Well, see you soon." With that, you headed to find Asuma's team. You were actually interested on meeting this group from what you heard that Shikamaru was on that team and it was said that his IQ was really good, so you were quite interested to see his fighting skills.

"Is there something you want kid?" you heard Asuma ask when you approached. You were actually thinking that they would be training but Asuma and the group were in a what seemed to be a house. Asuma and Shikamaru sat on the floor and had a shoji game between the two.

"Yes, I am not sure if Lord Hokake has spoken to you about me." Asuma glanced up at you and then at the game.

"Ah, yeah now I remember but if you are here to watch us play, then go ahead but if you aren't, you might as well leave, we aren't done." He moved one of his pieces and waited for Shikamaru who seemed to be concentrated.

That kid was said to be a really smart and you wouldn't be surprised if he won the game."Yeah, you might as well go that's all they will do for the rest of the day." Ino who stood next to Choji told you glancing at her sensei.

"Well, I guess I can come another day." Watching others was something interesting, it gave you an insight of what some of the strategies that the teacher used to teach but it seemed this team was not going training and you weren't really going to wait. As much as you forced yourself to stay, you just couldn't. You wanted to see, to be part of the training and they weren't doing anything at all, other than play."Well,see you then."

They glanced at you for a moment and turned back to the game, if you had staid for a few more seconds, you would have been able to capture Shikamaru's glance which remained on your retreating form for a minute or so.
