The Sabians chapter 6

Chapter 6- A "meeting"

*Amber*

" wow you know that spell already? " I asked him as he was closing the portal. 

" well yeah Deuse taught me in my dreams " 

The door then slammed open It was Marissa. 

"wow bro you learned the portal spell very easily, no wonder." 

"listen the meeting is about to start " We then hastily ran down towards the living room and to our surprise everyone of the prom committee was there. 

I then asked "Where's everyone else? I thought it's gonna be a party" 

"they won't be coming until 6:30" Marissa added. 

I looked at the clock 5:53 wow a short meeting huh... 

As the meeting commenced we talked and debated of where, what theme, our budget and all for the prom 

And to be honest I really wasn't paying attention all I could think of was how can I make Logan fall in love with me without magic. 

I then stole glances at him until to the point he caught me he then looked at me smiled and went back to listening. 

I then received a text message, it was from Valerie I opened it and it read.

HEY GIRL DO YOU THINK  

ME AND MY GALS CAN COME  

OVER TO THE PARTY?  

PS: GOOD LUCK WITH LOGAN :D

Well I'm not entirely sure about them getting in the party but I'm guessing Marissa sent word to different schools. 

But then how did Valerie know about Logan....Micah! 

I then glared angrily at him and he plastered a fake smile and did a thumbs up. 

I then texted Valerie of how did she know about that.. 

After awhile she then texted back.

YOUR BROTHER TOLD ME ABOUT IT, GOOD LUCK GIRL :D. 

SHIT! he told her about it?!, 

ugh, damn him, maybe it might be a good thing knowing that she can be supportive at times, and give good advice. Well save that for later. 

The meeting was more on a backbiting fest than a plan, laughing and mocking students who didn't have a date and teasing and I had to try and not lose my dignity, and flattering to those in the committee who had theirs. 

Even with all the fun we managed to agree on a theme for the prom, we decided it was Starry night! 

With all that over Marissa went outside to check if there were any party guests but then she got more than she bargained for. 

as she opened the curtains a huge line of people filling up the side walk in the middle of all that snow. 

"she then closed the curtain and glanced at her watch. "Oh man 6:55!" 

Logan and Lars then went by the window. 

"wow sis you invited a lot of people" Logan said worriedly 

"well pretty much all of the school's junior's and senior's he added" 

"well not much we can do about this..."she then opened the door."Party Mode Bitches!!!' 

And instantly the house was flooded with partying students I quickly lost track of everyone. 

I then went up the stairs to get a better view, Wow that's a lot of people...
