Teacher- Aja, they need you in the main office.

I got up rolled my eyes and began to walk to the main office. What the fuck did I do now?

Woman At Desk-Aja Friday?

Aja-Yea thats me

Woman at Desk-Mrs.Tanner wants to see you.

I nodded and walked to Mrs. Tanner's office.

Mrs.Tanner-Hello Ms. Friday, take a seat, Im here to talk about your grades and behavior here at Seasonal High, it had caused you to be transfered to Taylor Allderdice High School

Aja-What?! I cant go there!

Mrs.Tanner-You have no choice, here's your withdrawl papers.. You'll be starting tomorrow

She signed her name on the papers. I snatched them from her and walked back to class. As soon as I knocked on the door the bell rung for dismissal. I quickly grabbed my bags and caught up with my two bestfriends Autumn and Porter. We were the only black people on the cheerleading team at Seasonal. Only because my mom threatened them to let us on

Aja-Y'all are not gonna believe this (sighs)

Autumn & Porter-What?!

Aja-Im getting transferred to Taylor Allderdice.

Porter-What the fuck ?

Aja-I start tomorrow. Ima miss you bitches.

Autumn-We gon miss you too.

When I got home, I was tired and hungry. Still kinda mad I'm being transferred to Taylor Allderdice. That school is ghetto. Not saying im not ghetto but shit, thats worse. Well, about me My name is Aja Friday, im 17 years old and I was a cheerleader at Seasonal high. I have a brother Jaquaz, 2 sisters Aqua and Destini. Our mother is a real estate agent and my father works for the bank of America. So we have a pretty good amount of money. Im the only one in our house that has been to Seasonal, some preppy high school in Pittsburgh. I was home alone until my brother Joc (Jaquaz) came in.

Aja-Guess what?

Joc-What nigga.

Aja-Damn, why I gotta be a nigga. (laughs) But I got transferred to Taylor Allderdice.

Joc-Damn yo, now I gotta be on your ass more. Those niggas reckless.

Aja-Joc, its not like I asked to go there. I pretty much didn't have a choice.

Joc-Whatever, one of those niggas fuck with you its gonna be a problem.

Joc was always over protective over me. Ever since Aqua gotten raped and beatened by some guys at T.D he always been on my case, worse than my dad. I loved Joc tho . A few hours later both of my parents came home and my mom got started on dinner.

Aja-Mom, dad I got transferred for Taylor Allderdice.

Mom-Really? as hard as I tried to get you on that cheerleading team?

Aja-I pretty much didnt have a choice ma.

Mom-Well, Ima have Jaquaz on your ass.

Joc-Bruh its JOC !

Mom-That aint what I named you. Jaquaz Latavion Donquarius Friday.

Joc-(face palm)

Dad-I'm pretty sure Taylor Allderdice have a pretty good cheerleading team.Ask Aqua.

Aqua-Ask Aqua what?

Aja-Well he was asking about the cheerleading team.

Aqua-Its good I can get you on there.

Aja-thanks (smiles)

We began to eat dinner and talked some more. Then I went upstairs to take a shower and get my clothes out for tomorrow. After I finished my shower, I threw on some pajamas and went to bed. I was scared / nervous I hated being the new girl.

* The Next Morning *

I woke up at like 6 which was so hard for me. I'm used to waking up at 8 , it was still dark outside rn. Aqua was up blasting her music, Joc trying to rap, Destini was in the shower. 9/10 my parents were still sleep. I took another shower and got dressed. Since Im gonna be the new girl, I wanted to dress up because all the attention would be on me. I put on my black leather peplum top, black yoga pants, a jean jacket to go around my waist, and my Last Shot 14s. I curled my hair, and applied a little makeup and some red lipstick. I grabbed my Michael Kors bag and went downstairs .

Destini-You look cute.

Aja-Thank you.

Joc-are those leggings, ohh hell no. Take them off.

Aqua-Joc chill she got a jacket around it.

Joc-I dont give a fuck if she had pants over them. You know how those niggas are .

Aqua-Dont listen to Joc. Lets go before we miss the bus.

We went out to the bus stop and it was still dark. There was alot of people out, like half of the neighborhood, Aqua grabbed me and forced me to run to the bus, Because it gets packed quick. Luckily I got a seat to myself until this white guy got on.

White Guy-Can I sit right here?

Aja-sure (moves bag)

White Guy-Thanks. What's your name?

Aja-Aja, yours?

White Guy-Malcolm, call me Mac.

Aja-Hai Mac, Im Aja. (smiles)

We got to the school and Joc forced me to go to the office, to get my schedule.They had this girl named Brittanya to show me around the school. She was hood af for a white girl, after she showed me around & we went to class. My first period was Pre Calculus, it was mad boring so I asked could I go to the bathroom. I really wasnt gonna go, I just wanted to wonder around the hall .

???-Damn, whats your name?

I turned around quick as fuck, and looked this nigga and his friends up and down. Bummy ass niggas had on Team Jordans. I tried to ignore them but they continued to follow me.Then one guy pulled me back and pushed me into the locker.

Nigga-I asked whats your name ?

Aja-Aja. Can I go? I dont appreciate you having me up against a locker cus I wont tell you my name.

Other-Yo Quan chill, thats Joc sister.

Quan-forreal?

Aja- Yes, now let me go.

Quan-get the fuck outta here hoe, Joc aint your brother.

Aja-Yes the fuck he is, I aint no motherfuckin hoe.

Then Mac came running up to us.

Mac-Get the fuck off her! (pushes him)

Other- Well isnt it the cracker jack.

Quan-Yo White ass always think you're mister save a hoe.

Aja-IM NOT A HOE. (punches him)

Mac-Yo come with me.

I nodded and walked with him.He was kinda cute, but he probably wasn't interested in black girls. He had hella tattoos, and he could dress.

Mac-We should hang out sometimes.

Aja-sure, but I dont think my brother would approve it tho.

Mac-Is it because I'm white?

Aja-Not even, he's been on my ass ever since my sister gotten raped here last year.

Mac-Aquamarina or whats her name? (starts snapping)

Aja-(laughing) Its Aquafina.

Mac-I knew it was something like that. Do you want me to walk you to your next class.

Aja-sure. (smiles)
