Chapter something

Ace had a bad feeling, he couldn't explain it. His gut told him something bad was going to happen. He just didn't know what. Wally was on edge also, Ace and Max told him what was going on. And apparently he was a man whore because he had over 12 sons, and Max was his son also. Which felt awkward because he looked like he could kill Wally with a punch.

So now, they were at some old abandoned creepy building. Looking for serum of some kind. Wally wasn't even sure if he would be an help, because the two looked like they had it all covered. Wally turned boxes over and looked through files using his super speed, same with Ace. But not Max, Wally guessed it was something about him being a failed clone and not perfect.

These two are confusing...

Dick walked next to Roy, he felt like fighting. Roy and Dick approached a run down building, before Dick could get inside Roy put his arm in front of him, "Wait, look." Dick looked where Roy was pointing, footprints. Looked fresh also, so maybe somebody was inside. "Whenever we get inside, be careful," Roy added as he pulled his bow out with a arrow loaded.

Dick nodded stretching his arms out, his hands glowing meaning he was ready. Roy and Dick rushed to the building, Dick was eager while Roy was worried. Roy silently opened the door as they sneaked inside, "Be sneaky," Dick whispered. Roy nodded in acknowledgement. Roy held up a hand signal to stop as a figure walked by, he was tall and looked strong. He would be good to take over, another figure walked up to him, "Max, we found the serum!" The voice was eager.

He looked fast and agile, faster than the other. Ohhh choices. "Really?" 'Max' said as he and the other hurriedly rushed to another area. "Follow them," Roy whispered, "It might be what we're looking for." Dick nodded as he and Roy were on their tail but hidden.

"SO you found it?" Max asked a new shorter figure, the darkness of the night hiding there features. "Yeah!" "Well what are you waiting for?" the other asked, "Use it and let's get out of here, this place creeps me out." Max assisted the other as he grabbed the needle, "That's were I'm going to have to stop you," Roy stood up his bow pointed at them, "We need that." Max stood up the same time as Dick, "I assure you, we need it more than you." Dick scoffed, "For what? Your selfish needs." "Actually no, and in fact I think we are done talking." Max scowled as he grabbed the others shoulders turning them to the exit.

Roy let his arrow go as it landed at their feet, "Your not going anywhere unless we have that serum. "Then I guess were going to stay a bit longer." Dick barley noticed the smallest figure gone before it was to late. A hard strike managed to hit him in the head as Dick countered with a jab to there stomach. Earning a grunt as they jumped away, getting into a fight position, "Your lucky I don't have my toys." He chuckled.

"Well your lucky I don't either," Dick circled the other, as they did the same. Both waiting or a open spot to attack. The other made the fist move as he lunged forward, missing Dick as he moved to the left and bringing down his elbow so it made contact with his back. Dick heard the sound of somebody running as he turned to face them, he was greeted warmly with a bucket of cold water. "You have no idea how hard it was to find a bucket and cold water!"

Dick was still stunned as a hard series of punches were placed on his stomach. And soon after a hard kick sent him to the floor. Dick grunted in pain as he collapsed on the floor, he tried to get up as a foot slammed onto his back.

"Does this hurt pretty boy," A familiar voice growled, "Bro calm down," the other voiced murmured, "Don't tell me what to do!" Dick knew that voice... "Let me tell you something, I've been through hell tonight! And this serum is my way out." Scew whoever that voice was, they were going to kill him! Dick used his last resort. Gun.

With the rest of his remaining strength Dick turned himself as he at the same time, pulled out a simple handgun. He managed to take the other by surprise as he fell to the ground on his back. "Don't move or I'll shoot," Dick demanded. A small ray of moonlight shined through a small window. Revealing dark blue hair. "Fine," The other huffed, as he was pinned underneath Dick. "Wait," The other guy whispered, "I know you," Dick glanced in his direction, "It's me KF, you know Kid Flash." Dick fully looked in his direction, "Dick," the guy underneath him groaned, "Are you kidding me?!"

Dick crawled away, but leaving himself armed, "Put the gun down idiot," Ace groaned, " Wait, Ace?" Dick whispered, "Yeah, its me, so get your gun out of my face!" Dick shoved his gun into the holster, "Why are you here?? I thought you were in a coma?" Dick felt lost as Ace and Wally shared a look, "I'll tell you, but first lets stop Max and your dad."

Dick nodded in agreement as he went down to the oddly quiet place Max and Roy where fighting. Stopping himself as a body landed at his feet. Roy. Dammit. A eerie chuckle ran throughout the room, somebody landed behind Dick. "Max, stop acting creepy, its Dick and Red Arrow," Ace yelled as he struggled to pat Max's head. "IS ROY DEAD?!" Wally screeched as he sped to his side, he checked for a heartbeat. Sighing in relief as he found one. "Thank god he's alive..." Wally stood up as he walled back over to Max and Ace.

"So what's going on?" Dick asked, "Well to make it simple, while you were supposed to be watching me I was poisoned, Max saved me, I meet Wally, something is going to take over my body, and I need the serum to cure myself for good." Ace explained, "Something is trying to take over you?" Dick asked, "This may seem like a odd question, but do you see somebody?" Ace nodded, "He's chilling in that corner over there."

Dick glanced around for his, once he found them they simply waved as Dick gave them the bird. "Was knocking Roy out necessary?" Dick asked Max, "No," Max shrugged.

Ace noticed Wally oddly quiet, "Wally what's wrong?" Wally gave a grim look, "So I'm the only one who caught it...?" Max nervously chuckled, "Caught what?" "There is only one serum, only enough for one person. But Ace and Dick are BOTH infected," Wally looked at everybody before continuing, "Who gets to live...?"

Everybody was left speechless, "Dick could have it," Ace sighed, "No, your taking it" Dick refused. "I'm not going to." Ace shook his head no, "I won't." "Well neither am I," Max turned to Wally, "Can't we try to make more??" "Not enough time," Wally closed his eyes as he tried to think, "Whoever poisoned Ace gave him only enough for 2 days, this his last day."

"And me?" Dick asked, "I'm not sure. But if your seeing the same kind of person as Ace then it's a sign that its going to happen soon." Dick nodded in acknowledgement. "What time is it?" "about 10:00 ," Max answered. "Alright,"

After a few moments of arguing on who gets the serum, Roy woke up. He made a angry face as he got the wrong idea, "Stop hurting my son!!" Dick placed a calming hand onto Roy's shoulder, "Its Wally and Ace."

"Well who is he?!" Roy pointed at Max, "A guy who beat your as-" Wally jumped up as he slapped the back of Max's head to stop him from cursing. "My friend." Wally gave Max a stare as Max rubbed the back of his head in pain. "ow," he grumbled.

"Roy," Dick sighed, "We have a problem"

Dick was in the middle of explaining the situation. Until.

Everybody jumped as a loud hissing sound filled he room, "Well, Well," A sinister voice giggled, "Puddin! You were right, they did fall for the trap"

"Harley," Ace mumbled, "Come on we have to go, they said something about a tra-" "ACE!!" Dick screamed as a large figure grabbed Ace by the neck. "Who said you could leave?" "I know that voice from anywhere." Max growled, "Scarecrow," A sickening crunch was heard as Scarecrow slammed Ace into the ground and stomped onto his arm, "Get away from him!" Dick yelled as he tried to stop him, Roy held him back, he faced the others. "We have to go," Roy yelled. "I'm not leaving without Ace!" Max yelled as he pushed Roy off, "Your not leaving at all!" Harley laughed as she tore Dick away form Roy.

Max turned to a frightened Wally, grabbing him by the arm, "Run and get help! Get Batman, or anybody, hurry!!" "But how were cornered!" Wally cried out, Max easily picked him up and he ran to the window, "Don't take this the wrong way!" Max yelled threw Wally outside, Wally gasped in pain as he landed on his butt. "GO!!" Max yelled through the widow. A hand reached out and pulled him in. Wally shook his head as he scrambled to get up, he tripped over his own feet as he started to go.

"God let them be okay."
