7. Picture

My days were going too busy in Matthews thought that I totally forgot about Andrew. I never saw him in the college campus after our first meet. But I really need to know why he avoided me after been known that I am too from a George family. I was having dinner with my parents and they wanted to know how my days were going in college. Though it's really awkward for me to get free with mom and dad all of a sudden.

"Any new friends in new college?" Dad asked.

"Well yes. Only one. Kiara." I answered.

"Seriously having a friend only will not work okay. Make more friends enjoy your day dear."

"I tried making friendship with one guy in the very first day but you know he ignored me after he heard that I am from a George family"

"Wha..what was his name?" Dad with a low tone asked me.

"Andrew."

Mom and dad both were seemed so disturbed after hearing the name. They soon stopped eating and looked at each other.

"Don't be friend with him"

"But why dad?"

"He who ignores my child doesn't have the right to be a friend of yours."

I knew he was trying to change the topic. But never mind I will get to the root of this Andrew. I don't know why I was having intuition that there's something major something serious but I am unaware totally. I decided tonight I will have to know about that major thing that mom and dad is hiding. And somewhere I am pretty much sure that this would be the reason of their change in behavior towards me. Mom and dad both slept early today. And I was ready to get into their room.

Tik tok tik tok.

Its 12 o'clock. I silently entered into their room. I reached to the cupboard and searched it finely but couldn't get anything. I even searched the whole room but found nothing. Just at the time when I was leaving the room my eyes got locked when I saw mom sleeping with a picture in her hand. The picture was hold closely to her chest that I wasn't able to see whose picture it was exactly. I waited for hours for her to leave the picture while she changes her position. And finally the picture fell off her hand. I took the picture in my hand.

In front of me was the picture of Andrew. I was shocked for a moment. What is all this happening? Is he someone to us? I was really wanting to know all the answers related to this Andrew. Mom and dad would never tell me I know them very well . But Andrew will surely have an answer to this picture.

"Diana??" Mom screamed

"Yes mom I woke up. Just give a minute I will get ready."

"Where's the picture?"

"Picture of what?"

"The picture that you took away last night"

"Wait I didn't take any picture and what picture you are exactly talking about? It must have fallen somewhere let's search."

"Listen to me Diana very carefully. Nobody more than us is living in the house with us. So this picture could only be taken by you."

"Mom you know what I am getting late so just leave. Bye"

I got out of the house as soon as I could. Though I lied to mom about the picture but I had no option left before me. I need to go to college and find Andrew and today I will surely find the truth.

Diana's life has a lot of mystery but she is unaware of those. But soon they are going to get revealed.
