18. Engagement

I had to prepare myself to face him today. I don't know what he is going to do in college. My morning from now would be a beginning of war with the reality.
Each and every steps should be taken carefully by me. I haven't said anything to Kiara. I promised and I can't step back from my words. I will have to now flight by myself.

"Mom I am leaving."

"Ok dear. Have your breakfast on your way."

I don't know who is right and who's wrong. I can't believe that Matthew. There's something I am unable to understand. Again those creepy truths of my parents are haunting me. I think I should any how contact Andrew without letting Matthew know about it.
"You're late Diana." Matthew said

"Does it matter??" I asked

"Obviously it does. I had to give an announcement today and just because you are I late I will have to now delay."

"Better then. Do whatever you want to do. I don't care."

"You will soon care. Just wait for the announcement dear." He smirked.

I have no interest in what he is doing. But how can I just forget the fact that I love him. Even after being so cruel I feel for him. My heart still beats every time I see him. It's really crazy how one person loves someone unconditionally and the other person doesn't even care for their love. I was indeed a fool thinking that Matthew had too fallen for me. I was just a weapon in his battle. And still I am.
