AN okay guys sorry about not updating! I didnt have any ideas and I cant tell if I like this chapter or not. I keep changing it. anyway I will update more and i have a swim meet so I will update this weekend there! please keep reading and voting

Carolines POV

It has been 2 months since I have moved back to Mystic Falls.

In that time, I went to college, met a very cute guy, and Damon killed him. Yeah. I am still very pissed off at him but I am slowly getting over it.

Also, Damon amd Stefan and Elena and this new guy Enzo all fought this Augustine vampire thing. Damon used to be an Augustine vamp with Enzo but he escaped and then him and Elena were captured again.

They fought the guy who was making them and he ran. It didn't all last that long.

Now it is November. Damon and Elena are together. Bonnie and Jeremy broke up because she figured out she has feelings for Kol but she told Jeremy that she just needed some space. Stefan and Rebeccah are back in town. Elijah is the ruler of N.O because Beccah said Klaus has business elsewhere and Kol is with Klaus.

Honestly I don't know what happened too Haley. No one has seen her since I left.

I am still trying to forget about Klaus but everyday I wake up with the same feeling that I had just left him that night. My heart feels like it is in a million pieces.

I woke up around 9:00am and I was really sore for some reason. I planned this day to be an  'only me day' and I am going to relax. I made myself pancakes and coffee. I got caught up on Supernatural, and let me tell you, Castiel! ugg he is my man!

Then I took a nice, long relaxing bath.

It was around 5pm when I heard a knock on my front door. Just one. I paused my movie, Safe Haven, and went to answer. I looked down on my porch and saw a box.

It was silver with a blue bow around it.

I took it into my room and opened it. The first thing I saw was a dress. A beautiful dress literally for a princess.  It was long and shiny silver. It was a deep v-cut in the back and had tiny diamond jewls around the wait. It was perfect silk. I took it out and laid it gently on my bed.

The next thing I opened was a small box. It had white golves to go with the dress and a beautiful necklace with one of those fancy interlocking hearts.

I then found a not in the bottom.

It read:

Dear Caroline Forbes,

   We formally invite you to a ball. It will take place at the Mikaelson Mansion in Mystic Falls. We do hope you can make it.

   No signature though.

I expected that if I didnt go I would get stormed by Rebeccah. I figured Klaus wouldn't be there because of the buisness he has to take care of. I just hope Kol is there.

About two minutes after I put everything away I got a call. Bonnie.

"Care!"

"Did you get an invite too?" I asked.

"Yeah! Signed by KOL!"

Good so he will be there!

Bonnie and I talked for about an hour about stuff like getting ready. It was planned for Saturday evening at 6.

After I hung up with Bonnie I called Elena. She got one inviting her and Damon from Elijah. Huh. I wonder why mine isn't signed.

I feel asleep around 10.

Running. That's all I remember. My legs were in so much pain  All I knew was I had to keep running.

I was in a beautiful silver gown but it had a tear on the side from running.  wanted to look back but for some reson I couldn't. 

I was running through the woods when I stopped at a shed. I opened the door and walked down a long hallway.

I was about to open a door at the end when I heard my name.

I turned around and instantly woke up.
