Transforming

Klaus' POV

I saw her walk into the study. how swiftly she moved in the elegant silver dress I bought her and how lovely she looked. 

I stood behind her, noticing her perfect curves and how flawless her skin was. She saw me in the reflection and turned.

"What are you doing here?" Caroline asked quietly.

"This is my home." I replied

"I mean here. In Mystic Falls. I thought you loeft to take care of buisness?" She said back

"Well I did. You see, the buisness I had to take care of was your un-sired  boyfriend and talling him to leave me alone." I left out how I figured they broke up not wanting her to leave me. "Along with all his un-sired hybrid friends." I said harsher. "You see, Tyler has created problems for me and i needed to fix them." 

I heard Caroline take in an unsteady breath. "You didn't..." She couldn't finish. I knew what she was trying to say. My anger started building but I kept myself calm. 

"Don't worry Love. I didn't kill any of them. But your boyfriend almost went to far in trying to kill me and harming my child." 

I knew what I had said and I knew she hadn't heard me say it before. Even in New Orleans when she was there, I wouldn't speak about the baby.

"So Hayley is back?"

"Yes. I sent her to live with some friends in Euroope where she will be safe. Once the baby is born she is coming home. I can't risk them in New Orleans." (I had to make something up for Hayley because I didn't know what to do with her in the story yet)

"Well you seem to be happy with her so excuse me." She said harsher. She started walking out of the room but I stopped her, not wanting her too leave me yet. 

"Caroline..." I had to take a deep breath to continue. "I do not wish to stay with Hayley. I want my child to be safe. Isn't this what you wanted? For me to care for the baby?"

"Yes! The baby! Not that were-slut!" She yelled to me. 

I laughed at that comment and she joined in. 

All of a sudden she stopped. 

"Why?" She asked

"Why whatlove?" I asked, my smile going away. 

"Why didn't you stop me?" She asked slowly.

"Stop you from what?" I expected this to come.

"From leaving. I thought..." She didn't continue.

"You made up your mind." I said

"So that's it? You didn't even want me to stay?" She asked. Tears were forming on her cheecks.

I stepped forward wanting to wipe them away. Wanting to grab her and never let her go.

"Don't" She said harshly.

"Caroline..." I started. "I.." 

"Just save it. It was stupid of me to think that you cared. That we had something. Some connection." She said.

She looked into my eyes. And sped out of the room. 

I left the party after that. running into the woods. I ran to a bar and walked into the ally.

"WHY?" I yelled

"Sir?" I heard

I turned to see a women walking in the ally. This generation. She wore a black tight dress and tall heels and too much make up. Not nearly as beautiful as Caroline. 

"Sir can I help you? Are you okay?"

"What does she want from me?" I asked her

"Who" She asked

I ran up to her and grabbed her at the neck. "Don't scream." I compelled her.

"Why does she do this? Why do I feel? I tuned off my emotions a hundred years ago and back off when she left me." I said.

I looked the girl in the eyes.

"She had the same blue eyes as Caroline. I was about to sink my teeth in when I thought of her. How she would never do this.

"Go. Now. Get out of here and don't speak a word of this to anyone." I said compelling the woman. She rean away. 

I ran into the wood. I ripped off my jacket and shirt and ran out of my shoes. I couldn't contain my anger. I transformed. 

I screamed multiple times at the pain. As I ran through the woods in wolf form, I ran past the highway. I was at the border of Mystic Falls in no time when it hit me. 

I can not bear to live with out her. I have to see her. Just once again. i will not stop until she is mine. 

I ran back to Mystic Falls and when I got out of the woods I was human again. 

I ran to the door with only my pants still on me. 

Just as I was about to knock, I heard his voice from inside and was filled with rage.
