Author's Perspective

She strolled out of her pink bedroom in fear. What if Hollywood was not what she expected? What if she found herself in another stupid washed away world?

Kaligraph was so afraid as she thronged outta her bed room only to find a new world before her. She watched in disbelief as Painteen girls laughed and played. She watched in horror as Crayon year old children laughed with huge lollipops at arm.

She forgot how to laugh and she forgot how colourful the world was. No graffiti everywhere. Flowers along the sidewalks. Men in black with huge suitcases who shoved past other people.

She forgot it all. She stooped down and picked Cry Baby's so called golden flower. It was surely invisible for nobody could just eye anything gold and leave it.

Riele/ Kaligraph felt relieved. It was too good to be true. She didn't have to hide from anything. She didn't have to fear anybody. She was free once more.

But her freedom wouldn't last for long. Just 60 seconds and everything will be back to normal.

Riele Kaligraph walked on the Hollywood tiles under the fairly scorching sun. She felt too free to feel any skin burns although she knew that she was going to regret later. There was an ice cream stand before her. She had missed eating sundae so dearly that she couldn't help but drool.

"Hey mister!" She shouted as everybody turned heads to her direction and shrugged. She had forgotten that she was invisible to others but him.

Is this how ignorant this people are? Riele thought.

"Hey mister!! On your left!" She audibly shouted as everybody turned heads again.
"Can I have 4 ice cream sundaes?"

"This place is haunted." One mam exclaimed and walked away. Rude! Riele thought. She grabbed two sundae bars instead and walked away as people fretted and screamed.

Maybe Hollywood isn't the perfect place. Forgetful Riele thought. Then it hit her like a ton of bricks. She was invisible. And she could turn back time.

Slowly the rose chimed as everything moved in reverse. She was back at the ice cream stand. She had lost her two sundae bars but she didn't care. She wasn't ready to cause a fracas in Hollywood. She wasn't ready to appear as a ghost on the news papers.

She was a ghost, but only for 60 seconds. She wouldn't be human either after that period of time.

She stared blankly at two people who seemed a couple, quarrel with each other.

That's not awkward. She thought. She was used to seeing fights everyday. So quarrelling seemed like crying in the fighting zone. She only had 1 minute to change everything. Her wish came true.

She had to find him and sort out everything.
