Xiumin looked at Chen in disbelief
He slowly started to chuckle and soon turned into boisterous laugh
"Haha! Your kidding! Stop trolling Chen! Haha!" Xiumin laughs and slowly stops when he saw his serious face
"Your joking r-right?"
Chen sighed and shook his head
Xiumin furrowed his eyebrows and looks into their faces
"This isn't funny anymore.. you guys have to be joking"
"God damn it hyung, It's The TRUTH!! How could we be joking at a time like this?! We're slowly disappearing and you still think that this is a joke?!" Kyungsoo snapped
He's had enough
He didn't want to leave the Earth just yet
He wanted to stay here, dead or alive
Just to see his family all happy without him
"Don't yell at him hyung! What would you do if your friends tell you that they're dead!" Chen snapped back
"Nothing because I'm already dead!
And even if I were alive, I would still believe it because who wouldn't notice their friends all pale and weird?!"
"Well apparently Xiumin hyung didn't so don't snap at him like everything's his fault!"
"Alright that's enough fighting! Can't you both see that there's still someone who needs and explanation?!" Tao finally snapped when he couldn't handle all the yelling
They became silent
They didn't know what to do anymore
Xiumin still couldn't believe them
And they were losing their patience in waiting for him to finally believe it
"S-So... All of you are d-dead?"
Xiumin broke the silence when he knew that none of them wanted to speak up at the moment
"Yes Hyung.. and we aren't joking.. this is the truth" Sehun said
"B-But.. how can I see all of you when all of you are dead?" Asked Xiumin
"Well.. you were lonely.. super lonely.. that you made friends with people who are no longer existing in Earth" Explained Chanyeol
Xiumin kept quiet
He realized how his life was before he met Chen
He was bullied
He was tortured
He had no friends
He was indeed Lonely
"Your mind kind of registered how lonely you are and made you see us" said Kai
"I-I... I was that lonely??.. I was so lonely that I made friends with dead people??... I was that pathetic? I was that much of a failure??"
By this time now, Xiumin was sobbing hard
He never thought that he was that desperate to find friends back then
He never thought that he was that lonely, pathetic, worthless, unwanted and a disappointment to people that at just one glance, they'd hate him immediately?
"D-Don't think like that hyung! Your not pathetic!"
"Shut up Chen! I'm worthless.. nobody ever wanted me in this world... Even my parents are ashamed of me... I'm useless.. pathetic..un--"
Before he could finish his words, Chen slapped him right on his left cheek
The others gasped at the sudden slap
Chen would never hit anyone
Especially Xiumin
And what he did was completely stray
"Your wrong hyung! You aren't useless.. you aren't pathetic.. You made the rest of my stay here on Earth wonderful just by having you at my side! You made all of us form a strong bond of friend ship and you still think your worthless?" Chen sighed and put his hand on the other's shoulder
"You aren't all of those negative things that you said.. your perfect hyung.. the people can think and call you whatever what they want.. but just know hyung.. " he pauses for a while as he stares deeply in the older's watered filled eyes
"..Your you.. and if people think your some worthless piece of shit.. you know that their wrong because your worth than anyone here in the entire universe"
Chen smiled and Xiumin could feel his tears running down his red tinted cheeks
"Because your you" Chen said and kissed Xiumin fully on the lips
The other kissed back with as much force
He thinks Chen is right
No...
He knows Chen is right
And he couldn't help but cry and feel happy at the same time
Because there was someone
Who was willing to do anything
Just for him to not think badly at himself and be all depressed
Even if that someone was dead
And that someone was Chen
Chen pulled away when he felt Xiumin needed air
Their foreheads touched as they stare deeply into each other's eyes in each other's embrace
"I love you hyung... Because your you" Chen said and pecked Xiumin on the lips
"I love you too" Xiumin giggled and closed his eyes as he let the silence take over
A sudden cough broke that silence and they looked at the source
"I'm sorry to burst the little bubble you both were in but.. we've got a serious problem here" Sehun said and pointed at Chen
They all looked at to where he was pointing and gasped
"Ch-Chen.. y-your.."
"Yeah.. it's my turn to go.."
