gasping seeing light outside the window made me reacted quickly noting curing about footwear before grasping hold of my flashlight before racing to the sound of shouting and crying almost running into Susan "whats going on?" I asked, shouting over the noise making her shake her head knowing she had no idea ever.
"go find mum im going to look for Lucy!"
I yelled not giving her a chance hoping she would listen thankfully she did as she went the other side of the house I ran into her room to find her crying coving her ears to stop the sound of bombs "MOMMY!" She cried but then she saw me "Leah"!
"Lucy what are you still doing in here!" I shouted and grabbed her hand. I put her in her robe and slippers and Then, we both ran out the door, and down the stairs.
Running as fast as I could with lucy behind outside almost fell down in shock seeing the light and planes in the sky before I felt lucy pulling me.
"Leah come on!"
rushing into the shelter not seeing Susan "wait was Susan?! I turned my gaze to mum who looked just as surprised as me making me rush back out not looking back at the sound of Lucy shouts.
when I ran inside I bumped into Peter and Ed making the three of us fall with a thud "was Susan ?!" nodding my head seeing them looks just as confused "go hurry ill be behind you!" I yelled making not giving peter a change to fall me before running back into the burning house I didn't have long.

rushing to the sound of the voice seeing her grasping hold of her Cat "seriously Susan you almost died for a cat!?" "it's not my fault Lucy want me to run back of her," Susan explained making me sigh before grasping hold of her hand before we ran out of the house just on time.
lucy pov
I was terrified why did I tell Susan to go back to get Leo it all my fault I could feel tears in my eyes even when Peter tried to calm me down it wasn't the same and Leah's or Susan hugs.

coughing as both sisters fell in the shelter making me rush over to them pulling them into a hug as hard as I could with being so small compared to them.
"it's okay were safe" Leah whispers, making me smile but I could still feel my heart thumping in my chest and my eyes going glossy as Susan handed the small golden brown kitten to me before they pulled me into a hug.

I felt Leah letting go of me she walked over to Edmund taking him in her arms hoping to calm him down I knew he had a picture of his dad grasped to his chest he missed him we all did but he was fighting for are life all we could do was hope he would come home.
