Chapter: 4

Avan has been listening to Matt's conversation with Victoria who is himself at this point. He's upset since he's been wanting to hook up with Mia but now can't. Victoria looks confused and Avan was becoming pale and scared.

"Avan!" Matt yells at Victoria trying to get her attention.

"What?" Victoria furrows her eyebrows.

"Why don't you sound excited?" Matt says.

"Cause I'm not...? I don't care about Mia," Victoria says. Avan wants to go over and yell at her for being so stupid in losing this opportunity for him.

"What did you say? Dude are you crazy?!"

"I don't want to be with that Mia chick."

Avan couldn't take it anymore and steps out walking towards them.

"Wow... the best friends arguing?" He says with a smile. Matt turns around raising his eyebrows.

"Get out of here!" He yells. Victoria looks upset, angry for the way Matt is treating her own self.

"Don't yell at me," Avan tells him making Matt laugh.

"What's so funny?" Victoria questions. Matt stops laughing and looks her.

"Are you high?" Matt questions.

"What? No! Just don't treat m—" Victoria realizes what she was about to say then stops.

"Huh?" Matt stares at her confused.

"Don't treat Victoria like that," Victoria adds.

"I don't need you to defend me!" Avan says. He doesn't want her to mess up anymore because he isn't really nice and this is just ruining that.

"Okay hold up," Matt says. "Had you two been spending time together?"

"No!" Both of them protest.

They haven't really been hanging out together as friends, they spend time together just so they can figure out how to be back into their own bodies and not have to deal with the other ever again.

"You know what? Let's talk another time cause you're being weird," Matt tells Victoria then looks at Avan then back at her again. "Should I reschedule?"

"No!"
"Yes!" Both yell out at the same time.

"What?" Matt looks at Avan completely lost since he said yes to this situation.

"I mean... Bye!" Avan walks off towards Victoria's house as her mom is waiting for him.

"Victoria!!!"

"Umm I'm right here...," he says putting his hands out.

"What are the dishes doing in the trash can?!" Mrs. Justice yells out frustrated.

Matt was waiting on Victoria to give him an answer on Mia.

"I don't want to be with her," she tells him. "In fact... I don't want to be with any girl," she smiles raising her eyebrows as a light smirk tugs on her lips. This is payback; she thought.

"Wh-what?" Matt chuckles. "Dude had you gotten completely insane?"

"I don't want to be with any girl."
"Okay now you're really scaring me," he takes a step back as he stares at his supposedly friend. "Did you turn out to be gay?!"

Victoria thinks about it, it would be hilarious for Avan but she's not that cruel.

"I'm not gay. I just want to be alone. You know... focus on school."

"Since when do you care about school?!" Matt's eyes widen.

"Look, it will be for a while okay? Just trust me."

"Should I?"

"It won't be long trust me."

She really hopes it's not long and soon this will be over.

The next day, Avan goes to his own house and his mother answers the door.

"Well hello Victoria. What a lovely surprise!" She gives him a hug thinking it's Victoria and not her son.

"Thank you umm is Avan around?" He asks as he pulls back.

"Yes. He's in his room I'll—" she doesn't get to finish her sentence as Avan rushes inside up to his own room.

"What are you doing here?!" Victoria glares at him.

"Dude this is my room," Avan says.

"Not in my body," she sits back on his bed. He goes and pushes her off and jumps on it. "Oww! What do you think you're doing?" She gets up.

"I miss my bed," Avan smiles spreading his arms out.

"Get off," she pulls him off.

"Wow I am strong," he winks.

"Eww don't do that."

"Oh you know you wish you would do that," he tells her. "Okay listen, so we have no idea how to go back to ourselves."

"What if it's over by tomorrow?" She says.

"Hmmm what if... oh hush self!"

"Dang even as me you're mean," she scoffs.

"I will never change," he smirks then leaves.

Victoria then goes to the kitchen sine Mrs. Jogia is cooking dinner.

"Avan what did I say about bringing girls to your room?" She questions Victoria. "Victoria? You better not hurt that girl. She is our neighbor and it is not right."

"Umm we just talked. Don't worry," Victoria assures her.

"Good. I made hamburgers your favorite other than pizza."

"Umm no thanks I'll pass."

"What? Honey are you okay?" She touches her forehead.

"I'm fine. I will just drink some water," Victoria tells her.

"Who are you and what had you done with my son?" She looks at Victoria seriously as Victoria starts to feel uneasy, but then Mrs. Jogia laughs. "I know you will come for some. It's okay if you're not hungry now."

"Okay..." Victoria goes back to Avan's room and lays on the bed bored staring at the ceiling. She misses her room, her house, her own self.

Avan was bored as well and decides to explore Victoria's stuff. In a small bottom drawer by the bed where her purple lamp is, he found a little book. Her diary. He debates whether or not to open it. He knows it's not right. But he doesn't really care, though he needs a key to open her diary. He finds it and opens it as he begins to read it.
