"Firesoul!" Sunstar announced, beckoning the young warrior to join him on the highrock.
"Firesoul! Firesoul!" The cats shouted.
(Tawnypaws POV)
Tawnypaw was going back to the apprentice de. after the deputy ceremony. She looked begind her to see Sunstar and Firesoul talking. I wonder what it is about... Thought Tawnypaw. She heard sudden yowls. Oakpatch! She must be having her kits! She raced to the nursery to find Marigoldtail already there, her bundles of herba at the ready. "Oakpatch!" Tawnypaw screamed, looking at the youngest warrior in the clan. "Is it the kits?" Tawnypaw asked, looking at her distressed face.
"They're coming.." Oakpatch muttered, before an earsplitting yowl escaped from her mouth. A cream colored kit slid from underneath Oakpatch. "Brightkit.." Oakpatch said weakly.
Tawnypaw volunteered to clean the kit for Oakpatch. Oakpatch accepted and Tawnypaw licked the blood off the newborn kit. When she was done she nudged the kit twords Marigoldtail to see if she was healthy. As Tawnypaw was doing so, another kit slid out. "Nightkit." Oakpatch said, more strongly. Tawnypaw helped Oakpatch clean this kit. Just as Tawnypaw was about to leave, Firesoul came back from a patrol.
"Great StarClan! I missed it?!?" Firesoul said, rushing in to greet his mate. "Oakpatch! Their beautiful!" Firesoul mewed, licking her cheek.
Tawnypaw waved goodbye to the two mates and their kits. I wonder how she had a solid black kit when she is Brown and Light brown, and he is a tabby. Thought Tawnypaw. She pushed her curiousity out of her mind as she drifted to sleep. Just as she was about to fall asleep, She heard the battle cries of ShadowClan.
