Hello Everyone

Today I got the opportunity to interview ArchanaVinod

Thank you very much for allowing me to do the same.

I had a wonderful time taking your interview.

1. Your real name.

Archana Vinod

2. A little about yourself.

A wild dreamer. I spend the major part of my waking life in day dreaming, weaving stories out of anything and everything which has an impact on me. By profession, I'm a screenwriter. I write scripts for aspiring filmmakers in Hollywood. Hoping to make it happen here too one day. Besides this, I also assist my hubs with our business.

3. How long have you been on Wattpad and how has Wattpad changed your life?

I joined Wattpad on the 12th of June, 2015, only to get in touch with my friend Clara Ricks (Lara) who is a brilliant writer. You can find many of her magnificent works out here. It wasn't until much later that I actually started posting my stories. How Wattpad has changed my life... Hmm. It hasn't really changed anything to be honest. But writing out here has definitely helped me to improve in terms of story line. It has also given me good exposure to a really wonderful and encouraging audience.

4. What inspired you to write book?

I'm a dreamer not just in my waking life, but also when I'm dead asleep. LOL. I had my first epic dream at the age of 12. It was like watching a movie. It went on for hours and had the plot of a thriller. Unfortunately, I hardly remember anything of it. But that dream changed my course of life. It shook me up so much that I took up my pen for good. That's where my journey as a writer began. I've been into stories ever since.

5. Any plans to write a new book.

Oh. I have lots of stories in the back burner. But I dare not write any of them. Firstly because I'm so tied down these days that I simply can't commit to completing any of them on schedule. As it is, I already have 3 ongoing works hanging in the air for God knows how long. And secondly, my readers would probably kill me even before I can write "new story". LOL. You see... I've already left them off at a really uncomfortable cliff hanger. And I don't think they'd forgive me or even trust me if I start off another one. It's really tempting to kick start a new title, but why do so when I can't finish off what's already there?

6. Have you ever been bashed for any book?

Hahaha. I've been bashed for ALL my books. But it has nothing to do with the storyline. It has everything to do with how regular it goes live on site. Like I said, I've got 3 incomplete stories floating with my really pissed off readers on the other end :)

7. A personality that has inspired you.

Hrithik Roshan. As a kid, Hrithik was very shy and reserved. Firstly, because he has a double thumb and secondly because he suffered from a terrible stammer. And kids at school... you know? How they are... They like to pick on the weaker ones and laugh at them. So poor guy stayed away from all the action, thanks to the pain in his back and knees, which is congenital. But look at him today. It's unbelievable that once upon a time he used to stammer. It's even more unbelievable that doctors had deemed him unfit to be an actor. But we all know how he dances today. Bollywood has labelled him as the "god of dance." I love the message that his life gives us - no one is perfect. Imperfections are what makes you beautiful. It keeps you grounded even after you fight through them and reach the top.

8. What should a good book have?

Whatever the theme of the book, it should have the ability to transport you to another world in less than ten minutes.

9. Your favourite book on Wattpad.

Unfortunately, I haven't read much works out here. Out of the very few I've read, two of them stands out. You're still the one by Clara Ricks and Every Breath You Take by Kainat Asraf.

10. Your favourite writer on Wattpad.

Make that two. Clara Ricks and Kainat Ashraf.

11. Your favourite movie.

That's a really hard one. I've got so many favourites. But I'd probably chose "The Hangover" for its absolutely crazy and out of the box content.

12. Your favourite actor and actress.

Again... so many favourites. It's hard to choose. But I can name a few for their charm and ability to keep me glued to my seat. Amitabh Bachchan. Irfan Khan. Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Robert de Niro. Kangana Ranaut. Priyanka Chopra. The late Thilakan (a veteran actor from Kerala). Sreenivasan. Fahad Faazil. Nazriya Nazim. Rima Kallingal. etc. List goes on.

13. Your theory of life.

It's complicated. Especially when it hurts. But every new day unravels the mystery. There's certainly a reason behind everything that happens. Whether worldly or spiritual. So let's just hang on to life.

14. What does love mean to you?

Love is - All the little things that we say and do. A little at a time.

15. Single/Relationship

Married.

16. Two words to describe your fans/readers.

Wonderful. Engaging.

17. One word to describe yourself.

Complicated. LOL. Sometimes I don't understand myself either.

18. Anything to convey to your readers.

Yes :) It's been several months since I've updated my works, but still, the way you all still hang on to it, hoping and trusting that someday I'm going to continue... I love you all for that. I'm so thankful that you're all being very patient and understanding. It isn't that I don't care about you guys. Or that I've forgotten you. Or that I'm getting some kind of kick by keeping you all waiting. If I really wanted to do all that, I could have just popped up one fine day and announced that I'm going to discontinue all my stories. But I'm not doing that because I want to continue. I'm itching to post the next chapters on site. But truth is that I'm badly stuck these days. B-A-D-L-Y. Sometimes, all what I can manage in a day are a few words. A day in my life means 18 or more hours of non-stop multitasking. And by the time I'm done with the day, my batteries would be completely drained out. Getting myself to write while my body goes into auto shut down mode is really very hard. I'm sure that it could be the same with others too. So guys, please hang in there. I know you're all tired of waiting and want to know what happens next. Please just bear with me. I'm trying my best to do it. Trust me.

ONCE AGAIN, I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME TAKING YOUR INTERVIEW. I AM SURE YOUR READERS WOULD BE ABLE TO VISUALIZE HOW YOU ARE AS A PERSON. KEEP SIMILING. YOU GUYS CAN SUGGEST NAMES OF WRITERS YOU WANT INTERVIEW OF. WITH LOADS OF LOVE, GAYATHRI.
