I was walking down the street of the small town of were I lived. It was a colder day but that was normal for the northern Canadian weather. I had just left the only cafe in town and was headed home, when I heard my name being called, "Evy! Evy! Wait up" said the very familiar voice as she sprinted toward me. This was a normal thing for Mia, she was my best friend. Mia was obsessed with boys and sports. Every 2 weeks she was in a new relationship with some guy that was just using her.

As Mia caught up with me her long auburn hair danced in the wind. We walked to my house and went to sit in my studio because I was working on something big for some hotshot guy with big bucks and the deadline was in 2 days. Mia was very supportive of my job she would always tell me what I needed to fix and she would sometimes model for some of my drawings or paintings. Mia was one of the people that if you say no to she would pester you tell she got what she wanted. But today she was extra annoying and kept asking,"Guess what!!! Guess what!!!" So I finally just gave in and said what, I knew it was gunna be about some guy, and it was. She started fangirling over some guy named Preston who was apparently super hot and was a quarterback in high school. Right at the end of her fangirling she asked me why I didn't have a boyfriend, that through me so off guard I dropped my paintbrush on my new shoes I had gotten just a week ago. This was the first time she had ever questioned why I was single, I had never had a boyfriend other then some douche bag in the university who dumped me because he didn't want to hurt me. I was a very antisocial person the only friend I had was Mia and sometimes I wondered if she was even my friend. In high school im was one of the loners that sat in the corner of the lunch room with my sketch pad and my 2B pencil drawing anime characters of people that I thought looked hot or sexy. I was bullied in high school just because I didn't like talking to other people and I would constantly be doodling on all my note books and my folders and listened to music constantly. I didn't like any of the sports the rest of my class liked, hockey in the winter and base ball in the summer, these were not sports for me I would much rather go to dance class and draw then those stupid sports that I considered pointless and a waist of time.

I had no interest in having a boyfriend that would most likely just dump me and break my heart. But Mia had her mind set that I needed a boyfriend so she dragged me to my bedroom and went straight to my walk in closet that was full of clothes I had never worn because Mia had made me get them even though I didn't like them. She walked out of the closet holding a short black dress that was a size to small and a pair of black stiletto heals that I had never worn before and told me to put them on. I did what she said because I didn't really want to fight. I just barely squeezed in to the tight fitting dress that made my boobs and butt look huge which made me feel uncomfortable, and slipped into the stilettos and walked out to show Mia. Mia stared at me for about a minute and then she told me to sit down. I sat down slowly worried at what she was going to do. She had went to my bathroom to grab my makeup case and curling wand well I was changing in the closet. She started to curl my hair and ended up burning my ear 3 times, Then she started on my makeup. When she was all finished I felt like I had gained 10 pounds because of the makeup.
