As I'm sitting on this lumpy puke colored green couch, smelling smoke and beer, I can't help but wonder how I got here...and what I did to deserve this. I'm not a bad person. Well sure, I cuss, and I do enjoy a drink now and then, but I don't go around killing people, or stealing candy from little kids. But here I am. Maybe god hates me...yeah...I'm sure that's it. Otherwise I wouldn't be here.

"Hey baby, why don't you come over here and sit on daddy's lap."

"Go fuck yourself." I say not even bothering to look at the disgusting person who said that to me.

"Aww come on baby, don't be like that."

I turned around to see a drunk guy sitting on the arm of the couch looking at me with a smug grin on his face. I slowly stood up off the couch.

"Aww yeah, that's what I'm talking about baby, come over here sexy."

I quickly put my hand around his throat and slammed his head against the wall. I was right up in his face.

"Call me baby one more time and I swear to god I will break everyone of your fingers, that way you will never get the small satisfaction of fucking yourself. Do you understand me, baby?"

The guy nodded his head up and down. He was making gurgling noises. Good I hope it is hard for him to breathe. I put my head close to his ear and whispered, "Don't worry baby, you won't remember this whole thing tomorrow, but unfortunately for you, I will."

I pulled my head back and watched his face twist into a look of agony. I dropped my hand and he fell to the ground gasping for air. I turned around and everyone at the party is staring at me.

"What the fuck are you guys starring at?! Would you like a taste?" I yelled.

Everyone quickly turned back around and went on with their party. I left the room and went upstairs. I needed some quite. I went into a room and dropped on the bed. I laid back and looked up at the ceiling. I heard the door open and I quickly got up. It was a guy. Damn was he hot. His hair was down to his eyes and it was dark brown, he had light blue eyes, they were mesmerizing. He looked like he spent a lot of time outside because he had a nice tan.

"Oh I'm sorry." He said quickly. "Just trying to get away from everything." He said with a chuckle. He turned around to leave.

"It's okay, I understand." I said with a smile.

"Oh cool, so why are you in here? Hiding like me?"

"Yep, there uhh..pretty damn annoying." I said laughing.

"I know...I'm only here to drive my friend home, he's the drunk, I'm the driver." He said with a smile.

"Really? Sounds like me...I'm the designated driver also."

He started laughing, his laugh made me want to laugh.

"Do you go to Ridgeway High School?" He said curiously.

"Yep, I just moved here a couple days ago with my brother. And I have a friend that goes there, so she forced me to come to this party so I could meet some people before I started school tomorrow."

"Nice, so I've bet you've met some interesting people so far, huh?"

"Ohhh yeah." I said sarcastically.

"So who's your friend that goes here?" He asked

"Jenna Fletcher. Do you know her?"

"Jenna...Yeah I think I do. Blond hair?

"Yep that's the one."

"Oh cool, she's pretty nice, I haven't really talked to her before but she seems like a cool person."

"Yeah she is." I said smiling.

"So what's your name?" He asked me.

"Riley Sears. What's yours?"

"Matt Dean."

Oh my god...Matt Dean. I've heard this name before. Jenna is absolutely in love with him. The whole reason she dragged me to this party is so she could see Matt. Ahhh shit...Just then the door opens and I see Jenna starring in the doorway, she has a big smile on then she looks at Matt, she has a confused look on her face as she looks between us. Then I notice how close Matt and I are. One of my legs is on his and his hand is laid on my knee. Then the confused look is wiped off Jenna's face and is replaced by a totally pissed off expression. And it's pointed straight at me.
