  Today has been a very off day. First, I wake up before my alarm goes off, then Draco Malfoy came over (I was expecting him to be mean to me) and was kind to me, next I forgot my quill and ink, then Draco Malfoy was kind (again) and let me borrow his, then in the hallway I dropped all my books, and last, did I mention, DRACO MALFOY HAS BEEN KIND TO ME ALL DAY! I don't know why.
Anyway, right now I'm walking outside, enjoying the fresh air. I hear footsteps behind me.
'Must be another person enjoying the weather.' I think to myself, continuing to walk.
"Hey, (L/N)." Nate says, walking over to you.
"Go away, Nate. I'm not in the mood to be made fun of." You say, walking a bit faster.
Nate catches up to you. "Not so fast, (L/N)." He runs into you making you drop all your books.
You groan as he laughs.
"Oi! What did you do that for?!" You hear a familiar voice say.
You look over at a tree and see Draco sitting on one of the branches with an apple in his hand.^^   He jumps off and struts over to you and Nate, putting his apple in his pocket.
"What did she ever do to you, Nate?" Draco asks him.
"Nothing." Nate says.
"Then why did you run into her making her books fall down?" Draco questions.
"The same reason you bully everyone. It's for fun." Nate smirks.
Draco growls. You gulp and kneel down, starting to pick up your books.
"I think it'd be best if you left her alone from now on, Nate." Draco warns him.
Nate sees the look in Draco's eyes and quickly runs away, scared. Draco watches him run off then kneels next to you helping you gather your books.
"Why'd you do that, Malfoy?" You ask him. "Why are you kind to me all of a sudden?"
He gulps, nervously, and looks anywhere but at you. "I may have liked you since first year and please call me Draco."
You stand up, now having all your books. "Then why have you been nothing but mean to me in the past five years?"
"I don't know, honestly. I thought it would get you to like me." He says, pulling his apple out of his pocket. "How about you have lunch with me at Hogsmeade to make up all those years."
"Hmmm, I guess I could agree to that." You say. "You have this one chance to make up all those years to me, Draco."
"Great! I'll see you there, (Y/N)!" He smiles then goes to take a bite of his uneaten apple.
You steal the apple from him and take a bite. You swallow the piece you bit and smirk. "See you there!" You then walk back to the castle eating your apple.
Draco rolls his eyes and shakes his head.
