The new girl

Tokogaya's POV

Uhg, Mr. V's class is so boring. Wish I could skip that class or get the other science teacher. I walk out his class with my stuff to go put my stuff down.

Lunchtime is OK I guess, the food is sometimes good when the lunch ladies are in a good mood. They make food based on their moods. Which means the food is good on Friday.

Today the lines weren't as long as they usually are. Probably because the people who do have food are telling people not to get food or people are sharing. Unlike me, I don't have friends so I'm stuck with school food, even tho I can cook.

I stand in line behind the football captain, Mark. He always has all the girls all over him. As far as I know, his dad owns a factory in almost every state and his mom is a businesswoman so he has to get his attention somewhere. I look to see how many more people there are. A girl with long black curly hair was paying for her stuff.

The lunch lady at the front of my line switches with another Lady who wasn't doing anything.

I get up to where the food is and look around and see pasta, pizza, mash potatoes, and nachos. By the look of it, the lunch ladies are in an OK good as far as I can tell. I grab my tray as I see one of the lunch ladies go from behind the counter to somewhere behind me. After paying for my food I go to pick up my food till I hear a lunch Lady yelling at someone.

I turn around to see the lunch Lady that switched with the other Lady was holding the girl who had just finish paying. She looks new here.

"Hey! You didn't pay for those!" The lunch Lady yells as she yanks the girl's arm. She did pay, I saw

She turns around and looks at the lunch lady with fear. "Yes I did" she replies calmly and tries to pull her arm away. She didn't do anything wrong. Where is the lunch Lady that she paid?

"You didn't! I saw you with my own eyes! Pay up or I'll send you to the principal." The lunch lady yells at her making people look over at the two to see what's going on. I look for who she paid to and eventually find her. She had red hair that has grey hairs around the sides.

"B-but I did pay. I-i paid the other la-lady" she keeps trying to pull her arm away but the lady doesn't budge a bit. It seemed like she was about to kill her for not doing something she didn't do.

I find the lady she played and explained what was going on. "So will you please go talk to her," I asked her hoping she will say yes. She thinks about it then nods "thank you." I say sighing then walks to the girl and the Lunch Lady.

The lunch Lady with red hair walked to the other one and crossed her arms. "Margret let go of the girl," she says to her nicely.

Margret turned her head and looked at the redhead. "Kate, she didn't pay for her food and I saw it with my own eyes." Margret feels the girl trying to get her hand off so she pulls on her arm to stay still.

Kate sighs going to the girl and taking Margret's hand off of her arm. "She paid me, even this gentleman saw her. So let go of the girl." She said calmly while looking at Margret in the eyes.

"Well, why didn't you tell me that" she let's go of the girl and she instantly walks away. I thanked Kate before she walked away then looked at the girl. Her curly hair hid her face like a mask. She rubs her arm a lifts her head up a bit to look at me.
