Just saying I speed up time by a lot in this chapter but it is not the last chapter. I plan on making an Epilogue on what happens to our characters later on in life. I hope you enjoyed my sequel and if you haven't read my first book (Which will help you confused out there understand it the story better) you should take a look at it. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Ma'am?" the doctor said as I watched from my resting place as the doctor softly poked Steph's mom's shoulder. She fluttered her eyes open and stared up at the doctor. He had blood in the front of his uniform and the first time he had come to give her an update, she had fainted but now she just looked at him with a blank stare. It was about the tenth time during the three days he had come.

"Is she awake yet? Is she okay?" she asked him. The doctor fixed his glasses and put a hand on her shoulder.

"........She's fine. She's awake now if you'd like to---," before he could finish she had run off toward Steph's room and I followed close on her heels.... literally.  She slammed the door open and walked inside towards Steph's bed. She was hooked up to a machine and was very pale and fragile looking. She looked tired with bags under her eyes and her hazel eyes looked faded. Once her mother came closer Steph held out her hand which her mom took placing a kiss on it as she sat down. I grabbed a chair and sat on her other side.

"H-how are you?" Her mom asked.

"Peachy," Steph replied sending a smile to her mom and then me.

"The doctors have told me both have been here since I first got here without eating or anything. Are you guys okay? It's been three days.... I think." She said looking back and forth between us. I smiled and took her other hand.

"Better now that you're awake." I answered and Steph's mom nodded in agreement. For a secong Steph's eyes brightened and her cheeks went rosy pink, but she still has a long recovery and it quickly left.

"I'm glad to hear it." She said giving my hand a squeeze.

"Ma'am, you'll need to sign a few things now and I recommend buying something for you to eat along with your.....son?" The doctor said at the door. For a moment Steph's mom chuckled and reached over to plant a hand on my shoulder.

"He's just a very close friend but I'll take your advise. Leo watch over her please?" She asked.

"You don't have to tell me twice." I answered and she nodded before following the doctor out. Now that we were alone, I had a very important question to ask her.

"Steph.... I wanted to ask you something." I started. She smiled at me and said,

"Same. How and why did you come to that party. You weren't supposed to." She asked.

"Oh that, well Damien helped and me. I needed to see you so I could ask you... Steph, would you---"

"STEPH!" *sigh* I'll wait. Alicia came barging in flinging me aside and hugging Steph softly. She was crying into Steph's chest as she softly combed her hair back. Damien stood by me and putting a hand on Alicia's shoulder. He seemed distracted a little though and kept looking around the room. I realized that he could see spirits so he must be seeing a lot of them right now.

"I hope you feel better Steph." Damien said to her giving her a teddy bear that said 'get well' on it. Steph gently took it thanking him. For a second she looked at Damien and then said,

"Before I say anything else, Damien, Jacob said you need to tell Alicia. Don't give me that look she has the right to know.. She won't judge you. She lives on weirdness anyways." Alicia looked betwwen the two as they had a glare match and she decided to break it.

"Tell me what? Damien?" She asked. Damien didn't say a word and avoided her gaze as he sank  into a deep thought in which he should tell her or not.

"ARE YOU CHEATING ON ME?!" Alicia cried out. That snapped him out of his thoughts and hugged her tight as she tried to push him away. She soon gave up and after standing there for a while he spoke.

"I'd never cheat on you. You should know that...... I can see spirits Alicia. There next to you is an old woman who says she died of a heart attack. By the door is a teenage boy like us who died in a drunk driving accident. Please don't be scared." Damien faced away from her looking down. Alicia hugged him from behind as she replied,

"I'd never be scared of you. I'm okay with that, it's what makes you unique. You think you being an old spirit living out the rest of his life was fine to tell me but that you seeing spirits is not ?" At that Damien chuckled and turned around.

"I guess that was foolish of me, please accept my apologies." He said and they hugged it out.

"Well I guess now is better then ever. Steph, will you give me the honor of being my girlfriend?" I asked taking out a red ring like I was about to marry her. She put her hands to her face and nodded squealing. Damien and Alicia clapped and cheered and Steph's mom who had eaves dropped on them, smiled from the door.

"Those two are meant for each other,I'm sure of it," Steph's mom thought.

------------------------------------------------------- Skip time  towards end of high school-------------------

I sat by Leo eagerly as I waited for my name to be called. Alicia's hand reached out to mine and we held on tight grinning at each other.

"Now for the next 5 students: Tyler Sheepie, Damien Macaroni, Alicia Rose, Stephanie Pancake, and Leonardo De Vinci please come up to take your certificate!"

The school class and parents cheered as I shakily walked up stairs on stage and took my diploma. Everything I ever did, all those late night studies, all those 5 page essays, everything was for this moment.I couldn't be happier. I looked out towards my mom and her new boyfriend her partner and they raised a sign saying "TAKE THAT DIPLOMA AND DON'T FALL" on it. I giggled and made it to my seat again. They decided that they were both going to give up the police force to be teachers at the high school. My mom and dad both would be gym and health teachers and the rivalry for who was the best teacher was already under way.

"I can't believe we actually did it. I didn't even fall." Alicia whispered. I giggled and whispered back, "Same" Before the boys sat down too doing hand shakes and having a 'who can give the hardest pat on the back' contest. We were still together, one big happy family among friends as our high school went back and we always had each other's backs.

"Pizza after?" Alicia said and I nodded. I felt a hand grab mine and I didn't have to turn to know it was Leo I looked at him anyways and we bumped our foreheads together softly.

"Together." He started.

"Forever." I ended.

At the end we threw our hats up into the air signaling the end of high school, and the start of the rest of my life.
