Hope= A Phan Story

Chapter 1

Phil-

I was running down an alleyway crying, trying to get away from the Darkness

"GET AWAY FROM ME YOU SON OF A BITCH" I screamed at the Darkness

Phil, it is no use trying to run away from me, I will always find you.

Come to me and you will be free, away from this thing that you call life

"No.. No no no I will not, I have something to live for and you can't stop me"

Really Philip? You call cutting yourself, taking drugs, and depression a life? I call that death and it will soon come to you.

End of dream

I wake up screaming 

Phil! My mum hollers, are you ok?!?

"Yeah, just a nightmare" I hollered back, choking back tears

"Phil why do you let yourself do this? These dreams, they are horrible. Your Parents, Your life. Why don't you just end it?" A voice said in my head

"Philip Michael Lester, you can do this" 

I get out of my bed, and start changing 

It is a new school year, but... Daniel James Howell will be there

"It will be ok Phil, just avoid Dan and you will be fine"

Dan was the type that was popular, Captain of about everything you could think about in a High School. He wasn't the nice kind of popular, he was the "If you are a nerd or if I don't like you, you are a faggot" kind of dude. He would beat up Phil whenever he got a chance, sometimes even 5 times a day. 

Now, let me tell you about Phil. Phil does not have the best life. He has a slut for a mother and a hell of an abusive father, who works at night and drinks during the day. He also has a problem. He has depression... Severely... But he manages to get through life drinking, smoking, doing drugs, or whatever will make him happy. He tries his best, but it is hard. He has prescriptions for depression, but he doesn't like the way they make him feel, he feels like an entirely different person.

I get dressed into a red flannel shirt and some black skinny jeans. 

I grab my backpack and say bye to my mum and head to the bus.

I smile at the bus driver, she scowls at me. I start heading to the back of the bus, away from people when I hear a sadly, familiar voice

(Dan is bold and Phil is in quotation marks)

Well look what the cat dragged in, Philip Lester...

"Nice to hear from you too Dan" I look at the floor sadly

How's my favorite faggot doing?

"I am fine, so leave me alone" I feel a tug on my shirt

We are not done yet Phil...

'I turn around to see Dan with a big fist'

'He punches me in the stomach, then starts kicking me'

'I start to cry'

Ohhh is the faggot crying? Poor fag!  He says while kicking me one last time

As I am getting my books, Pj and Chris walk up to me

"Mate, you look terrible... What happened? " they both said 

Oh nothing, it was only Dan

"Only nothing? That is Daniel James Howell you are talking about, that is definitely not nothing" Pj said with shock 

Guys, I'll be fine, If I made it last year, I can make it this year

I slam my locker door right in front of them, and walk away going to my next class
