Edward Elric

(Y/n POV) 

It's finally New Year's Eve and I'm spending it with my friends. I am (y/n) and I am the miracle alchemist. I am here with my friends Ed, Al, Winry, Roy, Riza, Meas, Armstrong and the rest of the people that are my friends. 

Right now I'm sitting on the couch with Al and Roy waiting while talking and socializing with other people. I keep trying to hid some of my blushes when I look at him though.  HIM, the one I have had the biggest crush on ever since we were kids. Edward Elric, the one who I'm pretty sure has a crush on Winry, so why even like him since I know he definitely won't like me back. 

(TIME SKIP CAUSE IM LAZY AND DONT HAVE ANY IDEAS)

It is now 11:55 and I see a smirk on Roy's face, wait, WHY THE FUCK IS HE SMIRKING!?!? But I know that he's up to something, and I plan to find out. I do see him continuously looking at me then at Ed, wtf is he planning?  It's five minutes till New Years and I'm currently talking to Al. 

"So (y/n) when are you gonna confess to brother?" Al asks my smirking slightly. "Uh... wait what. No I do not like Ed." I whispered to al while blushing like crazy.  " really cause your blush says otherwis-" " Shut up!" I whisper yelled at him while he chuckles knowing he's right.

I'm hoping that Roy doesn't get too drunk or I'll have to drive him back to his house, AGAIN. 

(Ed POV) 

Yay it's New Year's Eve and that means people say they will follow their New Years resolution, like anyone actually goes through with them. But this year, I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna confess to her. And no you might think I'm talking about confessing to Winry but no, it's someone else 

This girl has been my crush since we were kids, she was always there for me and Al. Winry was also, but her, she was the one who could actually calm me down when I was mad or was the one to actually comfort Al and I after our mom died and after that day. That girl was.......

.... (y/n).

It is  now 11:55 and I can't stop myself from looking at (y/n). She's just so pretty with her outfit , her beautiful (h/c) (h/l) hair and her (e/c) eyes. I need to confess to her tonight, people always think that I like Winry, but why would I like her, she always hits me in the head with a fuckin wrench! 

I'm hoping that at midnight I'll get to have a New Years kiss with (y/n).  But I keep looking at the colonel bastard to see him with a smirk, and continuously looking at me then (y/n). Wait, WTF WHY IS HE SMIRKING. 

(Y/nPOV) 

It is now 11:59 and I still see Roy with a smirk on that annoying face of his, and now I see one on Al's face. Wait, why does Al have a smirk on his face, ok now I'm officially scared. Everyone is now doing the countdown till midnight...

"10...

...9...

...8...

...7...

...6..."

Suddenly Ed and I are being pushed into each other.

"...5...

...4...

...3..."

We were both a blushing mess.

"...2...

He placed his hands on my cheeks and instantly...

...1..."

Kissed me.

" HAPPY NEW YEARS!!"

I kissed back instantly and he smiled into the kissed once he realized I kissed back.  We both pulled away and we both were shocked yet happy, while everyone else was clapping and cheering that it was finally New Years. Man was he a good kisser.

(Ed POV)

I did it! I kissed her! I kissed (y/n)! And the best part was... she kissed back she fucking kissed me back! We were just looking at each other's eyes while everyone else was cheering that it was now the new year. 

" I love you (y/n). I have for a long time. And might I say, you are an amazing kisser." I said and she blushed even more if that was possible.

"Thanks and I love you too Ed. Happy new year." She said and she imediatly grabbed my shirt and kissed me again. I, of course, kissed her back and she melted more into the kiss and our lips moved insync.  We pulled apart for air and stared into each other's eyes. 

"Best New Years ever!" I said while chuckling  she giggled and said "Yea definitely."
