Scar

(Y/n POV)

I was walking home at night from work when I heard a small mysterious noise coming from a dark alleyway. I wondered what it was and being the curious person I am ( sorry if your not very curious, it just goes with the story and I didn't have many ideas for this one.) I went to check it out. I walked to the sound to see what happened... It was an adorable cat injured! Oh no I have to help it! I thought while I slowly went closer to the injured cat and stared to pet it. It was scared until i starting petting it, their head nuzzled their head into my leg while I was checking for anything that was the problem. I quickly noticed that the cats leg was broken and it needed help right away.

As I was about to carefully get up, there was another person that walked down the alleyway. It was a random person with white hair and a grey undercut. He also had on sunglasses so I couldn't see his eyes. He also had a weird looking "x" scar on his face, and an angry face, and has weird markings on his right arm. He looked like he had a pretty well built body. Now don't get me wrong, he looked kinda hot, but I'm also kinda scared right now. He looked at us and started walking closer to us.

" what are you doing here at this time of hour."He asked still with an angry face and still walking towards us.

"I was walking back home after work until I found this injured cat, which I had to help him." I said kinda scared.

" why would you want to help such a dreadful creature, if anything, it should die, at least it's not a state alchemist." He said but muttered the last part hoping that I didn't hear him, but I did.

"Why would you say that about a state alchemist, they are good people. Plus this cat is not dreadful, it's adorable." I said gaining slight confidence.

"You wouldn't understand what I've felt through and you certainly wouldn't understand why they are bad. They are the reason why I'm in hiding and why everyone seems to not like me." He said in with no emotion at all.

"Why would anyone hate you, I don't. It's actually nice that you seemed to care about a random stranger." I said with confidence laced in my voice while I put a small smile on my face. "You are quite a sweet man for doing so , especially not hurting me or the injured cat yet. It's quite nice of you to care too... Well I better get going to the vet to help this cat, if you'd like you can come too, if not then bye." I sad happily as I carefully got up with the cat safely in my arms no started walking away from the mysterious man, until I saw him start to walk with me. He tapped on my shoulder and I turned around.

"I forgot to say, but the names, Scar." He said with a softer tone.

"(Y/n), so I guess your comin along too." I said with a small smirk.

"I guess I am,(y/n). What a pretty name for a pretty girl." He said as I saw a small smile grace along his lips.

"Thank you, kind sir, your not too bad yourself." I said chuckling at the end.

"Thanks, haha. You know, no one has quite treated me with such kindness like you have. Especially since I was a total stranger that came to find you in a random alleyway." He said with a smile, why is he so cute for a random stranger.

"Idk why, like I can tell that your a nice person, since you didn't try to, ya'know rape me or kill me or something. Plus you still haven't hurt the cat even after calling him a "dreadful creature". I just think that you're just misunderstood, since you say people don't like you just because the military is after you, but I'm guessing no one knows the actual reason why you do what you do. Excuse me for asking, but what did you do the the military to get them to not like you?" He stood there shocked, but quickly decomposed himself and answered...

"A state alchemist in the military killed by brother on purpose, the only family I had left, and gave me this scar, after that I swore to kill every single state alchemist there is to get my revenge. ( sorry if that's not his actual reason it's been so long since I watching fma so I can't remember what it was. If you want just change it if you need to.)." He said with an expressionless face, but still kept waking. I stopped walking, and he noticed and also stopped. He gave a a questionable look while I carefully put the cat down, and I did something that surprised him a lot... I hugged him. He stood there shocked for a few seconds then started to hug back.

"Wow I'm so sorry I didn't know, but if it makes you feel better, I think your a better person than they were, and I'm on your side. The only thing is that why kill them all when you could have just killed that person or him and his group for revenge." After I said this, he stopped hugging me and he looked at me shocked.

"You do? Wow no one has said that to me. And yea I don't think the military even knows the whole story." He said bringing back his sweet smile. I let go of him and look at him.

"Well I think we should get going, cause I still have the cat to help." I said.

"Actually, WE have the cat to help, now let's get going to the vet."  He said while picking up the cat with a smile. I smiled and we started walking again.

(Time skip brought to you by an arm and a leg)

"Well we're here, I. Guess this is goodbye, until I see you again." I said kinda sad.

"Yea I guess this is good bye, until we meet again." He said, but I noticed that there was sadness in his voice. "Goodbye fair maiden." He said while laughing. I see what he's doing, I guess I'll play along too haha.

"Good morrow my knight in shinning armor." I said dramatically and chuckling and bowing. After I said that, I put the cat down again, and I hugged him one last time and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and went inside after picking up the cat again.
