Ed x reader

(Y/n POV)

Today is the day!

The day I have been waiting for.

Its my birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I get to spend the entire day with my family and friends. And most importantly, I get to spend it with my biggest crush... Edward Elric. I can't wait, I like him so much, but I now he doesn't feel the same. He probably likes Winry instead. Why would he even like a girl like me anyways. Wait, why am I being so negative, when it's my birthday! I should be excited! Plus just me getting to spend it with my friends and family is all will take to make me happy. 

Now is the party and I'm so happy everyone came, even Ed and Al! They were able to make it, even with some of their friends too.( Roy, Riza, Armstrong, etc.) I've actually gotten the chance to talk to them and get to know them. They are all nice people.  So the party has already started and Al walks up to me (Human Al) and he has a smirk on his face. I wonder why... wait AL HAS A SMIRK ON HIS FACE! I don't think that's good sign.

Al whispers "Hey (y/n), so I was doing some thinking about your crush on brother... and I was thinkin-" "No Al, I'm not going to tell him ok?" " Why?" " Cause I know that he probably doesn't like me back." " You don't know that-" " And what? You do know?" "well.. you see... he does like someone, but- I probably shouldn't tell you. Brother would hate me if I told you. Well I guess I'll see ya later. Bye (y/n)!" and Al just walked away to where the others were talking. I wonder who Ed likes... And why wouldn't he want me to know.

As the day went on, we all had fun, laughed and played fun games, that ended us laughing even more.

(Ed's POV)

I wonder when I should tell her. I have been waiting all day to, but I'm scared she'll turn me down. Oh (y/n). If only you knew how crazy and happy you make me feel, when i' around you. Or even think about you! I'm the Fullmetal Alchemist, I have won many battles and fought many homunculi ! I shouldn't be afraid to tell her how I feel! But this is (y/n), she's so beautiful and amazing, I just want to hug her and kiss her everyday. I want her to be my loving wife. If only she knew how I really felt about her. Plus if only the friends Al and I brought would stop teasing me about my crush.

" Hey Fullmetal, you should tell her before its too late." Mustang said quietly which bought me out of my thoughts and made me stop staring at (y/n). "I don't know colonel, I don't want to be turned down." "I'm not sure she even likes me back." "If you wont I will." "OK, OK, I will. Just give me time. I want to make it perfect." "Good, not go and at least have some fun with her and think of something amazing. Something that will wow her. Something that will make her-" " Thats enough, Mustang." "OK, I get it, but go and have fun, it is a party after all." and then he just waled away to go talk to some of his other friends. 

(Roy's POV)

So I waled away from Ed to go find his younger brother, Al. I found him near (y/n) laughing at what someone said and apparently... smirking. I would have never thought, that Al could do such an evil thing. I walk up to him...

 " Hey Al, can I talk to you for a minute?" " Yea sure colonel Mustang." We walked away from the people and near the side of the house ( The Rockbell's House, sorry I forgot to say before.). " So, I'm pretty sue we both know about ED's crush on (y/n)." " Yea, he is so in love, but I have a plan to get them together." " Wow Al, so do I, but whats yours." " Well... I was thinking that we could get some slow music playing. We would have everyone get a partner, except for Ed and (y/n). Then they start dancing, we would let them talk and stuff before, then one of us or someone else would push either of them into the other to get them to get them on the floor on top of each other. then we let love take its course." "Wow Al, I'm very impressed. Mine does not compare to yours, but we should just do yours since were running out of time and we need to get them together tonight." "Yea, plus it would be a good thing to do for brother, he's been feeling off lately, and he's been staring off into space a lot. I think brothers been thinking about (y/n). Hopefully the plan works." " Yea, I can't have a state alchemist not focusing in battle because of a crush. Lets go."

We went back to where everyone was and told everyone we need about the plan. Fullmetal better not screw this up. Everything was set, everyone was set and ready for the plan to begin. 

(Y/n POV)

I was talking and dancing with my friends until a slow song came on. everyone quickly got a partner to dance with and left Ed and I standing there confused. I looked over at Al and saw a big smile on his face, but he wasn't with anyone. I wanted to go over to him a ask him for a friendly dance. That is until someone took my arm and swung me into their arms. I look up to see a blushing Ed holding me up and quickly picked me up and took both of my hands in his, while still blushing madly. I smile and start blushing a lot. A few seconds later we start dancing to the slow song. We danced and danced, but no words were said. We were too scared to sat something stupid. 

That is until one of us broke the silence. "So (y/n), uh... I hope you had a good birthday. You look amazing today, actually I think you look amazing everyday." Ed said but almost mumbled. "Well thank you, Ed. You look really handsome today. And everyday." I whispered the last part so that he hopefully didn't hear me. "Wait, what (y/n). You think i'm handsome." Ed said,but became almost beet red. "Yea I do. In fact- woah!" Someone "accidentally" bumped into (y/n) which did something amazing for the new young couple.

 THEY KISSED!

At first Ed and (y/n) had their eyes wide open at the surprise, then they slowly closed them and enjoyed the kiss. The crowd cheered for the new couple and had smiles on all of their faces, even Roy's. Ed and (y/n) finally separated and looked lovingly in each others eyes. They stayed there for a few minutes, in silence. Then Ed broke it again to say something he wanted to say to (y/n) for years.

" I love you (y/n)."

" I love you too Ed" Ed's face light up and he hugs (y/n) and brings (y/n) into a loving, passionate kiss. ( And they lived happily ever after, til the next day, which they both died from poor choices. The End :) JK!) But (y/n) and Ed did live happily. :)

Sorry I haven't uploaded in awhile. I was very busy with school and stupid hw and projects and test and just my own personal life. I'll try to do my best later on and sorry if you don't like the story, I was typing this really late and was rushing to get it done, but please if you want something special just put tin the comments or message me on Wattpad.
