It suddenly comes to me. Getting those expensive figurines are easy, you just gotta do it at the right time. Like it's just there. Nobody's stopping me anyways. All I need to be aware of is to avoid those sneaky CCTVs.
Now, people usually have their "conscience" stop them from doing this but today it is different for me. Like I just don't care. As long as I don't get caught, I'll be happy with what I have. Doubt that guilt will come after me anyway.
You see, the pane of the glass box which holds the figurines is not locked properly. There is a slight opening that tempts me to just push it so that the opening would be just wide enough for me to take the figurines.
I am standing in a position that blocks the figurines from being shown to the CCTV at the corner of the ceiling. Alert, I look out for the shopkeeper who was busy on his phone. The entrance of the shop was approximately ten meters away from me. I need to make this quick before anyone notices what I am trying to do. I swipe five figurines from the bottom shelf and shove them into my pocket. I then carefully closed the glass pane, without breaking the silence. I pretend that I am done exploring the details of the shop with no particular interest in any of the items they have. I walk out of the shop. With the five new objects which will soon enter my stolen collection of figurines, I cheerfully head back home.
