Kians POV

She plops down next to me on the couch, flailing her body onto my lap while groaning. I laugh at her silliness before she begins complaining.

"Kiannnn," she drags my name out, her hands covering her face. "I don't wanna do thissss." I laugh again and pull the textbook she was working out of towards us.

"C'mon, babe. You gotta." I tap the page and she groans really loudly once again, before sitting up, huffing out in 'anger' and I hear her pen click open, and look over to see her staring at the paper, writing down an answer sloppily in her teal colored pen.

We sit down, pulling out our journals and placing the pizza in between us. Alaska has been helping me for a while now, and my journal entries are no longer about Reese, but the topic has changed to the times I spend with Alaska.

"Ready... Go." She says, flipping open her book as soon as she started the timer. I open mine to the next blank page and write in a teal pen,

Right now, I am currently very, very happy. It is quite a change, but I'm so content with this change. Pizza and a beautiful girl are waiting for me, as soon as I finish writing for 10 more minutes.

Her eyes are beautiful. They don't compare to the sky blue, but they are so beautiful, resembling what a leaf would look like in the summer, very very green and very very beautiful. Her black hair doesn't compare to the oak hair of her but resembles the color of a crows feather. Sleek and wavy.

Both make me very, very happy. The only difference is that one is no longer here, but I wouldn't have been able to meet her if she wasn't, as sad as that is.

I stop to think, watching Alaska as she writes god knows what, so concentrated as she chews on her lip while spilling her thoughts out onto paper.

They are so similar in my eyes, but to anyone who knew her and meets new her, they probably wouldn't understand why I think they're so similar. They both have little things about them that makes me fall further for them, little habits they get into.

The timer goes off, a little song playing through the pizza place as Alaska leans over to turn it off. "Close the book, Lawley." I hear her say as I scribble the last sentence.

"Hang on."

I think I may be in love again.
