"Jack! It's the Northern Lights!" The wind said, her voice stern and quiet. Jack chuckled, "Alright. Let's go." He said, stopping his game of tag with the Penguins in Antartica. The wind and him flew, over the clouds, and to the sparkling sun. It was setting, and giving the clouds a golden look as he flew by. "I wonder what they want me for?" Jack asked himself, he shrugged and continued to fly. His staff was still led tightly in his hand. He flew into Norths workshop, the usual noise of elves and yetis working (mostly yetis) filled the jolly workshop.
The smell of fresh cookies filled the air, Jacks mouth watered. He bit his lip before walking to the globe room. "Hey North!" He said, flying in the room. It was quiet, and Tooths dings weren't fluttering. Jack had a feeling of dread start in the pit of his stomach. And just to add to his concern, Bunny and the others where sitting on the couches, waiting for him. "Alright Mate. We need to talk." Bunny said, which didn't help Jacks nerves. "What about Kangaroo?" He asked him, trying to sound more confident as he felt. "You're a guardian now. So we need to tell you what to do and what not to- to remain a guardian." He said, his Australian accent thick. Jack sighed, and sat down in a chair. this was going to take a while.
"Let's start. Rule number one- you can't date another another Guardian. We had a spirit with us once, broke one of our hearts- and we all decided we better just not." He explained, Jack started to frost the floor a bit. "Jack. Ve must stop freezing floor, no?" North asked him, his voice stern. Almost like a father to a son. Jack shook those thoughts out of his head. It had only been a few months, he couldn't get to attached yet.
Jack pretty munched zoned out, that was for almost every rule. He kept his ears open for anything that may affect him. But the rules mainly didn't effect him at all. Unless you counted the few Tooth had said. "Now Sweet Tooth, rule number 66 is really important. It's, we don't interact with Mother Nature, or her Seasonals." She said, Jack almost laughed. All the guardians where breaking a rule. He was a seasonal!
Jack Frost Seasonal of Winter, thank you very much! He was tempted to say something, but decided against it. It didn't matter right now. "Do you understand?" She asked, looking at him. He nodded, biting his tongue.
"Alright. Back to me Mate. Rule number 89. We don't watch Anime." He said, jack looked at him confused. "You guys confuse me." He stated, not listening after. Instead he frosted windows and froze elves.
After Bunny explained the rules for hours, the last one was up. Rule number Jack-Doesn't-Care-Anymore. "Final rule here Frostbite." He said, he cheered up, his grin growing. He could finally see Hiccup. "No datin' spirits." He told jack.
What? Wait, that meant he could date Hiccup. His heart broke a little. Then, he reminded himself, he was Jack Frost! He didn't play by the rules! And always bended them, he'd just have a secret. He's keeping it because its love. Right?
Right. He was a seasonal, and so was Hiccup. So technically he could live by the seasonal rules. Because they can't date- they can Court. Which the guardians didn't say anything about. It even marriage- he was getting ahead of himself but it wasn't specified what he couldn't do other than date.
"I gotta go." He said, Bunny opened his mouth. "Chill Kangaroo, just following my orders by the big boss. She told me to make it snow in Japan." He told him, quickly flying out the door before they realized it was summer in Japan. "Wind." He whispered, "Take me to Berk." He finished, the wind quickly responded. Jack closed his eyes, and he felt weightless.
He felt the wind rush over him, and his hoodie getting tossed around harshly by the wind. His staff was once again held tightly. He remembered when he dropped it while flying, he got so distracted that the wind noticed. And then he crashed into a tree, Jack was out for days after. That's also how he met Hiccup. Seeing that Jack was going to the first Seasonal meeting for a new Autumn Spirit.
Hiccup quickly nursed him back, and both of them made it in time for the meeting. Although Jack passed out on the floor shortly after- Hiccup wasn't a good doctor. Getting better at medical research, but still pretty bad.
He sighed but then gracefully landed on a rock. He perched himself on a tree branch before looking for his brown haired boyfriend. "Hiccup!" Jack yelled, he knew Hiccup was here. "Hey Jack!" Hiccup shouted, Jack looked up. Hiccup was waving from outside the window. He was one of the many spirits that did the whole 'Seasonal and Spirit thing' before they did a 'heroic act.' Neither of the boys ever heard of a spirit dying- minus Jack of course. So they had assumed it could happen either alive or dead.
Jack laughed, "Hiccup! What are you doing here?" He teased, flying in the window. "Well, you know. Training toothless and stuff." Hiccup replied casually. Jack nodded, "How bout you?" He asked, jack laughed again. "Well Hic, I actually was just lectured." He told him. Hiccup groaned, looking at Jack.
"It better not be Merida again. Jack I swear you guys just think of each other and you can insult each other telepathically!" He said, jack chuckled. "It's not red head. Not Punzie either- not mom, and surprisingly. It wasn't Julie!" He said, 'Punzie' and Merida where the Seasonals of Spring and Summer. Meanwhile Julie was Jack's co-worker for winter duties. Although he handled them for the most part.
Hiccup smiled, then frowned. "Then who lectured you?" He asked, curious and worried. "The guardians. Just about new rules and stuff. Nothing to worry about." He told Hiccup, Hiccup kissed his lips gently. "Good." He told Jack, Jack pressed his lips against the boys' again.
"Love you." Hiccup and Jack said, both of them sweating, panting, and shirtless by the time Jack had to leave.
