"Rose? Do you feel like talking yet?"
Darcy watched as Rosaline sat by her window looking out onto the trees below with a blank stare. She sighed when the girl gave her no answer and grabbed her untouched breakfast before taking it and setting it outside the door for someone to pick up and then looked back to the shell of a woman in front of her. She went and sat at the edge of her bed and stared at her back.
"It's been days, Rosaline. You're going to have to speak sooner or later."
The girl ignored her and continued to stare off.
Darcy sighed again letting her shoulders sag forward. It's been a little more than a week since Rosaline was brought back from wherever she was. She hasn't spoken a word since. Nobody knows what happened except maybe her King and his father and she wished that Rosaline would open up to her so she could help fix whatever was bothering her. She's never seen her friend like this and it broke her heart to witness it. She was completely clueless on what to do.
"Rosaline, please talk to me. I'm your friend. All I want to do is help and I can't do that if you won't let me in."
No response
This has been their thing for the last couple of days. Darcy would beg the girl to tell her what's wrong while Rosaline ignored her. It was frustrating for her to just sit there not knowing what could have made her friend go silent. Her King allowed only her into the room to bring food in and out and to keep his Lady company and she was honored to have the right. But, she didn't know that she would have to watch as she suffered. Watch as she kept her emotions bottled up inside waiting for a moment to explode from her like a bomb. She didn't think she'd have to watch as her friends own mind slowly tore her apart more and more than she already was only because she wouldn't speak to anybody. She was in depression and it was all Darcy could do not to shake the information from the girl so she could help. That's all she wanted, was to help. It's all she ever wanted for Rosaline. And at this moment she felt useless. It was not a good feeling.
"Tell me what you want me to do, Rose. Please!"

She looked down at her hands not knowing what else to say. She got up and headed for the door. Maybe she can try again later.
Rosaline listened to the sound of the door shutting and let out a silent breath of relief as she closed her eyes and laid her hand on her stomach feeling the queasiness come back before disappearing as soon as it came. She hasn't been feeling so well since the day after it happened. Every time she thought about it she would run to the bathroom to puke her insides out. She tried to shake the thoughts away as she opened her eyes and turned to look at her bed. Maybe she should sleep the day away again. She likes doing that lately. She got up and her stomach growled in protest. She hasn't been eating well these days only because she couldn't seem to keep the stuff down. She was thankful to Darcy for bringing her the food but she just wasn't for it. She felt bad for treating Darcy the way she has been but she just doesn't feel like speaking with anyone. After telling Abellon about how afraid she was she completely shut down. She stopped talking to him and didn't even talk to Rhyvos when he came to the room. She could tell they were both upset and worried and she just didn't have it in her to reassure them. She herself didn't know if she was going to be okay so how was she suppose to reassure them? You'd think she should just be thankful that Abellon and Rhyvos went back to the scene and scented out the men who did this to her and disposed of them and go about her life like she was before it happened. She wouldn't doubt that Abellon and Rhyvos interrogated the men first and knew what was done to her. The thought scared her. She didn't want them to know.
