Unexpected

Kaitlyns POV:

I am talking to my online friend when Zayn walks in the room.

"Great your up." He says smirking.

"U-uh Hi." I say.

He sits down next to me on the bed. I flinch as he reaches for the remote. He smirks and changes it to a romantic movie, The Notebook.

My heart flutters when I see Zayns face. I know I should not feel this way about him. I mean we use to be good friends all the way through middle school and I have loved him scince. I just can't keep loving him though.

Zayns POV:

Right now I am watching a movie with Kaitlyn. I don't know why but I want to test my feeling out. I look down at her. finally she looks up at me. I smirk and lean closer to her. Our lips connected. I felt my stomach turn. I finally open my eyes and push her away.

"You do like me!" I yelled.

"N-no I d-dont know what happened." She said.

"Wow."

"I am sorry." she said standing up.

I push her back down. She fell hitting her head on the headboard.

"Oh my gosh are you OK?" I say running up to her.

"Yeah." She said looking up.

I was not inches away from her face. She swallows as I lay down next to her. I sigh and turn off the light and turn the TV back on. She sniffles a little bit. Was she crying? I place my hand on her thigh. She flinches but soon relaxes. She soon falls asleep. I look up at her and move her hair out of her face. She looked like she was crying. I fall asleep.

The next morning I wake up and see Kaitlyn snuggled against me with my arm wrapped around her waist. No matter how much I deny it I love her. I smile and pull her closer if that was possible. She wakes up and looks at me surprised.

"Uh..." she says.

"Ew did I sleep in the same bed with you?" I say standing up.

Kaitlyns POV:

I wake up this morning with my head on Zayns chest and I was so close to him. That did not last though. He pulled away and went into his room. I sigh and change into a Pink long sleeve shirt with my Jean shorts. I put my hair in a messy bun and walked out to go to the bathroom. I wash my face and brush my teeth. After I gave myself one last look I went downstairs. I look in the kitchen and see shirtless Zayn leaning against the counter texting someone. I could not help but stare.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing.'

He walks up to me pushing me against the counter.

"Do you like me?" he asks.

"I don't know."

He leans in and kisses my neck.

"Whatever." He says walking away.

"So. Whats going on today?" I ask quietly.

"We are having a party."

I winced when he said we and nodded my head.

2 hours later.

I sit on the couch when about 50 people walk in the house. I remain sitting there awkwardly.

I look up and see two girls standing there.

"Hey my name is Ashton. And that's Sadie."

"Hey. I am Kaitlyn."

"Nice to meet you wanna hang out?"

"Sure." I say smiling.

We talk for about and hour when a slow song came on. Ashton danced with a guy named Niall, and Sadie danced with a guy named Harry. I smile as I watch them slow dance. Suddenly I feel Zayns warm breath hit my neck. He grabs my hand and pulls me up. Soon enough we were slow dancing.

"I am sorry." he whispered.

I don't say anything.

"I really am. Please forgive me." he said pulling away.

I lean against the wall and think.

"OK." I said smiling.

He let out a sigh of relief. I stared into his eyes. The slow song stopped. I walked back to the couch and sat down. Zayn sat down next to me pulling me onto his lap. I smile and lean in. Soon we are kissing. Without knowing the kiss suddenly turned to a french kiss. It felt right and wrong at the same time. I break away and sit down next to him. He drapes his arm over my shoulder and I rest my head on his chest.

"I love you." He whispered.
