Alois' Pov

I was looking out the window in my room when I noticed a carriage pulled up outside the manor and saw two people get out of it. Ciel. What is he doing here. Probably came back to stomp on my heart some more. Or to kill me. I don't care either way.
"You have guests, your highness. Should I send them away, you are not well." Claude said, from outside my bedroom door.
"No. I'm fine." I opened the door, and walked downstairs.
"Ciel Phantomhive. What a surprise. To what do I owe the honour? Or did you just come here to see me?" I teased, trying not to seem like I was as upset about our previous encounter as I clearly was. I hadn't slept in days and I was losing weight from not eating. I looked horrible.
"I need to speak to you, Alois. In private." He seemed nervous.
"Fine. Come with me." I didn't wait for a response before turning around and going back up the stairs and through the halls of the mansion. I heard his footsteps behind me.
I stopped, and a few seconds later he caught up to me.
"This way." I opened the door next to us, which led to an empty bedroom.
"Why are you here Ciel." I asked.
"I lied." He said.
"About what." Is asked.
"You're none of those things. I lied, B..because I- I don't hate you Alois. But you don't love me. You can't-"
"I see you just came here to rip out my heart some more, Ciel. I know I'm disgusting. You don't have to tell me, but you did. I guess I asked you too, so I can't complain. You can tell me again if you want. Go ahead, beat me down some more. Spit on me like the filth I am. I deserve it. I'm been so awful to you. To everybody. I'm sorry. I..I have to go. Claude will see you out. Claude!" I yelled, and Claude appeared beside me. He picked Ciel up and started carrying him towards the stairs. I turned and ran out of the room and down the hall to my room. I slammed the door and threw myself onto the bed. I cover myself in the blankets and cried my eyes out. God, I'm such a mess.
"Alois!" I heard Ciel yelling. I heard his footsteps coming back up the stairs. Shit. I thought. Sebastian must have stopped Claude from escorting him to the carriage. I hear Ciel opening random doors, trying to find me, and calling my name. He can't find me. I went out into the balcony. Just as I hid around the corner from the doors, I heard him open the bedroom door. "Alois?" He asked, calmly.
I held my breath. I couldn't face him again. Not ever. But he seemed to have other plans, as he came into the balcony. I moved back and sat on the railing.
"Stay away from me." I said. He didn't listen and took a step closer, so I removed my hands from the railing, titling side to side a little. He backed up and I held onto the rail once again.
"Just listen to me. You didn't let me finish."
"What could you possibly still have to say to me. Gonna insult me some more? Please, insult me, Ciel. Tell me how you really feel."

"I love you."

I know I know I need to stop with the cliffhangers. Sorry (not really, there's gonna be more of them.) 🙂🌹🕷
