So it turns out Tyler met his mate Rose two weeks ago, after she almost hit him with her car. He wanted to surprise us at the ball but with Scott jumping down his throat every now and then he couldn't take it anymore and brought her here earlier than planned. We already enjoy her company and presence, after shooing the boys out to go get ready and Scott apologising for jumping to conclusions. We were now finishing off getting ready and that included Rose since Tyler rushed her over here so early. After our makeup was done, mine being white shimmering eye shadow, thick line of eyeliner, mascara and red lip-gloss. The same went for Rose only she had sliver eye shadow and pink lip-gloss; I knew I couldn't wait any longer so I broke the silence.
"So Rose, you want to tell me what you are?" I asked passing Ruby her dress.
"What?" she looked confused as she froze from unzipping her dress bag.
"Well," I started, "We know you're not a vampire because I would know," I said unzipping my dress bag and pulling out my dress. "Because you stare at one and you have tan."
"And that's when I thought you were werewolf, but then I crossed that off right away when I smelt your scent. Not that you smell bad and besides I'm half werewolf. Don't tell anyone please," Ruby stated taking off her robe.
"How do you I'm not human?" she asked curiously looking at us.
"Oh please!" Ruby laughed hugging her waist.
"Rose you're not human, I feel power rolling of you in waves let alone smell it." I smirked, hands on my hips. Sighing I knew I couldn't get it out of her even though we've only known her for a few minutes, less than an hour actually. Ruby unzipped her dress then slipped in to it before walking up to Rose and grabbing her wrist, her eyes went colourless and cloudy. Rose tried to tug her hand back. Keyword here tried, Ruby's iron grip on her before she gasped and stumbled away from her.
"Witch," she growled at Rose.
"Ruby, stop!" I snapped walking behind her to zip up her, I ran my hand though all of her hair golden ice droplets appeared and stuck to her hair glittering in the light as she turned her head side to side.
"Why? There nothing but bad luck to us! How do know she's good?" She whispered, walking backwards to stand behind me
"I know she is good, you just saw in to past and I take it future," I mumbled the last as Ruby zipped up I felt my back straighten more, I beckoned Rose and she walked hesitantly towards me, making a swirling movement with my finger she turned round and I zipped her up quickly then finished her hair. I pulled the side back clipping them in place with dangling gems so her hair tumbled down her back in soft waves.
"So what are you good or bad?" I asked walking over to the mirror check my eye colour they were grey turning slightly gold.
"I'm good witch," she whispered sitting on my bed with something in her hand. "Why do you have that necklace?" I looked down and saw, nestled just above my chest, was the key to my heart; so that's what I told her.
"It the key to my heart."
"What does that mean?" she looked confused.
"Nothing!" Ruby snapped "What do you have in your hand?"
"Just the crystal ball that was on your desk," she shrugged me and Ruby both snapped our head to her quickly going to grab the ball we happened to touch it at the same time. And image flashed across my eyes before we all dropped the ball and it rolled across the room.
"What was that?" Rose asked.
"You should never have touched that ball Rose," Ruby whispered softly shaking her head.
