CHAPTER 4 ~ TRUE OR FALSE

Jezzabel’s POV

‘’Everyone knows you can't live without your mate.’’

‘’Everyone knows you can't live without your mate.’’

The words floated around me repeatedly. Scott was my Mate. I was Scott's mate: we belonged together. Why didn’t I notice this before? Maybe it's because I'm a Vampire and not a werewolf like him. But this was also very rare for a Vampire and Werewolf to be soul-mates, nothing like this has happened for 3 thousand years. A vampire princess and a soon to be Alpha are mates? I knew he had Alpha blood in him because I could feel the power radiating off every time I was near him.

Mates

Soul-mates

How was it even possible?

It had been four days since I last saw Scott let alone spoke to him since I was avoiding him as much as possible. He was in most of my classes but I always sat at the back, as far away from him as possible. I still hung out with Ruby every day at school and after at my house where I was secretly training her to fight and stand up for herself. It took a while to get her to go along with it but eventually she did. As for Jack he made some new friends (I still haven't met them) which he spent most of his time with. It was now Friday after school, Jack and I sat in the living room watching nothing on the TV. He wasn't happy about me and Scott being mates. But what he said next was so unexpected that it left me a bit shock.

"I know don't like Scott, but sooner or later the fact that you two are mates and apart will slowly rip you apart because you can't be without him," Jack turned to look at me before continuing.

"Jezz it’s only a matter of time before you brake. You have to talk to Scott."

I just stared at Jack with a blank expression on my face, because it was all I could do. Slowly I stood and walked passed Jack to my room but not without saying what I said.

"What would you know about love your just as heartless as me brother."

So here I was in my room staring up at the ceiling as I let my mind wander at the unexpected turn of events. The walls were dark purple with pale blue patterns on them, a king size bed with dark blue covers that had pale purple patterns on the in the middle of the room with white see though curtains draped over it, on the left side of the is my dressing table with a window just above it. Opposite my dresser was the door to my room and next it was my desk with stuff spread across it. On the far left of my room was the walking closest. Little way from the closest was two steps that showed you my lounging area which consists of some beans bag chairs and couches, bookshelf, falter screen TV and a table. On the right side of my bed was a large window with a seat fit for two people and there on the right wall a door which led to my bathroom.
