Sometime when falling Luke got trapped in a mess of rope. A little father down, as if hitting solid ground, they suddenly stopped falling.
Millie slowly opened her eyes realizing that the where still far away from the ground.
Luke let out a yelp of terror, his hands where covered in blood. He kept hugging Millie, to protect her.
" L-Luke we are gonna be okay, right?" Millie asked, afraid of what the answer will be.
He fell silent, but then said, "Y-yes...We will be." His voice was shaky, but yet, it was still firm.
Millie looked up, only to see her brother struggling in pain. " Luke! Look! There's a branch! We can go over to it! We can get home!"
"I see it! Come on! Let's swing over there!" Luke squawked. He sounded as if he found the one needed in a haystack that was the size of the moon.
" So...we'll be okay? Well live?!" Millie said in a quiet yet firm voice.
" Oh yes Millie! Don't forget that! Okay?!" Luke said, his eyes twinkling " Dobt forget fir a second, are going to got down safely!"
Millie smile, but there was something about the twinkle in her brother's eye, and the sound of his voice was, it was just unsettling.
Turning her head a bit, Millie saw blood. Not her own, but her brother's. His lower shirt was almost drenched in the dark red liquid.
" Luke?" Millie asked nervously.
He was looking away, it took him a few seconds for him to even realize that Millie was talking to him. Slowly but surely Luke turned around, his eyes looking very weak.
" Lu-" Millie started but stopped seeing the new ragging pain her brother's eyes, the storm still ragging above them.
Sirens where going off in the distance slowly getting closer.
" Luke! Someone saw use! We are going to be okay!" Millie screamed in excitement.
" Hello? How's there? I called the hospital and fire station! They are on there way! Where are you?!" A strange voice yelled from a distance.
" Up here! We are here! There's rope on the ground in front of us! When you it look up! You won't see us any other way! Got it?" Millie yelled back.
There was a moment of silence, the only thing they could hear was sirens they could hear.
" Over here!" Only this time, the stranger was tying one end of the rope to the tree and running towards the sirens with the other.
" Wait! Where are you going?" Millie yelled after the stranger.
The stranger stopped, then slowly turned around before yelling back, " I'm going to find help!" Then turned back and ran of.
" H-h-he better find help. I think this rope might-" Before Luke had finished the rope startedto tear in many places, tossing Millie and Luke closer to the ground.
Luke had blood all over him now, and he was nearly asleep. Millie reached for something to stop the bleeding now she was facing him. But suddenly, non of that mattered because Millie was in the air, thrown suddenly to the ground.
Millie hit the ground suddenly. What felt like millions of sharp pains flu a at Millie's body. Blood lurched from her, everywhere. Blood was poring out of her, she didn't know where, but it felt like it was everywhere. She can't move no matter how hard she tried she just can't.
Within minutes, paramedics rushed over to Millie, they found her just minutes after they had spotted Luke in the tree. He was gone now probably in the hospital.
They lifted Millie up dispite the groans she was making.
" Hello? Can you hear us? Can you talk? What's your name sweaty?" One of the paramedics asked somewhere above her. But it was within a minute or two later Millie had passed out.
