Well This Is Awkward

Remember the whole story is in Maddie's POV unless I say it's someone else's and that is why I am no longer putting "Maddie's POV"on top of every page.

When Kalani and I were done at the water park we went back to our hotel room. I changed into my grey joggers and my grey ALDC sports bra. I put my hair in a messy bun and sat on the bed to watch the "Golden Globes". Good thing my makeup was water proof so I didn't have to redo it.

Kalani- Hey Mads I'm gonna quick walk to the gas station and get some snacks. You want anything?

Me- Oh um can you get me some beef jerky and some Red Bull?

Kalani- Yeah I'll be back in a sec

Me- You have your key right? I mean I can lend you mine if you don't

Kalani- Yeah I have it in my purse

Kalani pulled out her key from her purse and walked out of the room.

I just sat on the bed for a couple minutes wondering what I should do. I wondered if I could see Kalani from the hotel window. Sure enough there she was, walking down Main Street only wearing shorts and her bikini top.

I decided to get up off my lazy butt and explore the hotel. If I was going to be staying here for a week I might as well get to know my way around here.

I plugged my Beats headphones into my phone and put them on. I turned on "After The After Party" by Charli XCX, grabbed my key to the room, shoved it into the back of my phone case, and headed out of the room making sure the door was locked behind me. I made sure to text Kalani letting her know I was exploring the hotel so I may or may not be in the room when she got back.

I heard the door next to ours open and didn't think much of it as I was still texting Kalani. Then................SMACK!!!

I had bumped into someone and fell onto the floor, the wind knocked out of my lungs. My vision was blurry for a few seconds but when it came into focus it I saw who I had bumped into. Mark Jacobs. Great just great.

Mark- Oh my God I am so sorry I wasn't paying attention and....

Me- No no your fine it was me who wasn't paying attention

Mark helped me up and we just stood there looking at each other awkwardly.

Me- Well this is awkward

Mark- Yeah kinda

Mark swished his hair back into its original position with his hand and I almost died. His smile made my heart melt and his eyes......oh my God.........I can't even describe how cute he is.

I started blushing and so did he. My stomach felt like it was filled with butterfly's. We stood still, our eyes locked for like, what felt like forever.

Kalani- Well are you guys gonna kiss or what?

I snapped around and froze.

Me- KALANI!!!!

Kalani- What?

Kalani just stood there with a Red Bull and some beef jerky in one hand and some chips I the other.

Me- Oh my God Kalani you have the worst timing ever

Kalani-I know. Welllllllll I'm uh just gonna be in the uh room......yeah

Kalani walked into our hotel room and I turned around to face Mark.

Me- I'm sorry about that

Mark- No it's fine really

I bent down to pick up my headphones and my phone then stood back up.

Mark- So it looks like your guy's room is right next to ours

Me- Great

Damn that sounded way to sarcastic!

Mark- What?

Me- Oh nothing it's just been a long day

Mark- Same here. I think your the first girl who hasn't completely smothered me all day

Me- Yeah probably

He chuckled and stuck his hands in his pockets.

Mark- Well maybe I'll see you around sometime. Are you going to Magcon?

Me- Yeah that's the reason why I came here

Mark- How far did you come?

Me- Oh I live just an hour away from here. How bout you?

Mark- Oh I live in California but my mom is thinking about moving here

Me- Really?

Mark- Yeah she figures that not as many people will know me so I'll have a better chance at living a normal life.....but

Me- So far that's not going to well for ya?

Mark- Yeah. How hard is it being as famous as you are?

Me- Well it gets hard sometimes but it's not to bad. Um this has been great chatting but I gotta go now

Mark- Ok well see you around Mads

Oh my God he just called me Mads!!!!! I'm in freakin love man!!!

Mark's POV

I felt so bad about knocking Maddie over like that but when I held her hand to help her up I felt something. Like a shock that went up my spine and I didn't want to let go. But if I didn't she would think I was a creep. After that I was kinda glad I knocked her over so that we could have that moment. I'm not sure if she felt it to but I kinda hope she did.

When I walked back into the hotel room that Jacob and I shared I saw Jacob sitting on the bed and he basically screamed at me like a girl.

Jacob- BOYYYY TELL ME EVERYTHINGGGG!!!!!!

Me- Jacob man your acting like a little girl...wait what did you see?

Jacob- Everything grlllllll!!! I watched through the peep hole!

I groaned and Jacob got up and pulled me to the bench in front of the bed. He plopped me down on the bench and hopped on the bed leaning forward listening intently.

Once I was finished telling him what happened he started jumping on the bed, squealing like a little girl who just got her first kiss.

After Jacob was done freaking out I told him that I was going to walk through the halls of the hotel because I was bored and didn't feel like watching the "Golden Globes" with him.

Jacob's POV

Ok I have to admit I'm kinda jealous that Mark bumped into Maddie and not me cause I mean I like her a lot I just haven't told Mark yet. He told me he liked Maddie Ziegler a long time ago and that's why I haven't ever told him I like the same girl as him.
