Dancing Cures All My Problems, Even The Ones I Cant Fix- Unknown

Back to Maddie's POV

I continued wandering through the hotel listening to random songs on Pandora. I was walking down one of the hallways and my phone's messages went off. I paused my music and it was Kalani.

K😍/Kalani       M🙈/Maddie

K😍-Grl what happened after I left to the room?

M🙈- Oh nothing we just talked

K😍- yeah sure. You were totally swooning

M🙈- ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!

K😍- No

M🙈- Ugh I hate you Kalani

K😍- Luv u 2 girly

I turned my music back on and continued down the hallway. There was a door at the end of the hallway that was a lot bigger than any of the others in the hallway. I slowly opened the door and peeked inside. IT WAS A BALLROOM!!!! Oh my goodness I could have so much fun in here! I quickly ran up to the front desk and asked if I could use the ballroom. The person at the desk said that they weren't using it at the moment and they wouldn't be using it for at least another couple hours. So that meant I could!!!!

I quickly ran back into the ballroom, turned on the lights, and made sure that the doors were closed. I plugged my phone into the speakers and scrolled through my music. I decided on the song "In The Name Of Love" by Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha. I tuned on the music and started dancing. I didn't even know what I was doing. I just moved to the music and new moves came out every which way. I felt good. I felt free.

The song felt like it lasted forever but to be honest I didn't mind one bit. I kept feeling like someone was watching me but at that point I didn't care. After the song was done I put on one more called "This Is My Year" by Family Force 5. It started and I heard the door open the close. I figured it was just the janitor walking in but then walking out again. So I didn't give a thought to it.

After the music was completely done I stopped and heard clapping! What?! I turned around and almost fell backwards. It hadn't been the janitor who had walked in! It was Mark! And he definitely hadn't left after realizing I was here! He stayed to watch me, and I never knew it!

Me- Mark! What are you doing here?!

Mark- Well I was wandering the halls because I was bored and didn't feel like watching the Golden Globes with Jacob. So I came down here because this is the one place I haven't been yet. I heard your music playing and got curious. Then I came here and you were here. Your a really good dancer Maddie

Me- Heh thanks Mark

I brushed the loose hair from my face and started blushing. Mark started to walk towards me.

Mark- Was all that choreography you memorized?

Me- Um no I just thought of the movements as I went along

Mark looked at me with an astonished look on his face.

Mark- Your joking with me aren't you?

Me-No Mark, I'm not joking with you

Mark- Wow

We just stood there for a while. Certainly feels like we've gone through this episode before. Oh right this exact same moment happened like a half hour ago. I looked up at Mark and he looked at me.

Me- Well I gotta go Mark. I hope we see each other soon

Then I did something I never thought I would ever do. I hugged Mark. And he hugged me back! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! We held the hug for a little bit before we let go. I grabbed my phone, said bye, and was headed for the doors.

Mark- Maddie wait....

I turned around to face Mark.

Me- Yeah?

I could tell Mark was nervous to tell me something. I hoped he would tell me what I wanted him to tell me. Sadly he shied away from his words.

Mark- You know what never mind it's not that important

Me- Oh ok bye then

Mark- Bye

We waved and I walked out of that ballroom as quickly as I could without looking like I wanted to get away from Mark. I did but then again I didn't.
